Buying a used td50k kit today, and looking forward to buying at least a couple of these maybe even all four
Alan explains this well. Hope to see more expansions for the TD-50 module soon.
In the works, my friend! :)
I agree they sound amazing !!! And he’s quick to reply to emails ...love the support
Hi Alan, Quick question, Before loading your pack, do you need to do a backup to your SD card of a brand new module out of the box (with stock kits and no tweaks)? Or does the factory reset option make doing that redundant?
I don't plan on using Roland stocks at all, and want to begin my setup process with Infinity as my #1 Backup.
If it's a new module, there's nothing to backup. Just remember to choose YOUR pad setup after you load the pack. Hope that helps! Have fun!
If you buy two packs (Generations & Infinity) can you have them loaded at the same time or does one over write the other when loaded? Thanks
Loading an expansion overwrites what is currently on the module. You’ll have to load one, and then load the kits you want from the other pack; up to 100 kits. You can also load Roland kits from default memory. You can load personal kits you’ve saved out individually as well.
Thank you, it's all starting to make sense.
Is there anyway to make global trigger settings? I have an AtoE kit so pretty custom settings. When I load up studio X my trigger settings are gone and in need to start again. Then when I load up generations I need to do the same. It’s all saved now buts it’s like everytime you load a vex you’re resetting your TD50.
Everyone must setup their personal pad setup the first time, and then re-save the backup. You can copy your setup data with an app like VDrumLib. See our video called, "Creating Custom Collections." I show how to copy your setup data from a personal backup.
@@VExpressionsLTD thanks for the reply. So I can’t copy my setup data (specifically 1 slot of my trigger bank) without external software?
I’m coming from a TD30 so finding this module very user unfriendly
@@VExpressionsLTD ok just watched your creating custom collections, gonna buy vdrumlibs for sure.
Great work
