my boyfriend has DID and he has told me if i ever want to talk to a specific alter to let him know. i don't trigger them out, but ill be like "Hey next time *insert alter name* is close to the front I had a question for them." and he'll let them know that i wanted to talk. we've discussed it and all the alters are okay with it.

I have a PTSD trigger from being groomed, I always found it silly but now I'm going to share it. Whenever someone compliments me about how smart I am, yep, everything I heard throughout being groomed was ' You're so smart for a 12 y/o!' ' Oh for a 12 y/o you're very mature' ' You must have very good grades!'. So now whenever someone says anything along the lines of that I start having an anxiety attack, it's not a pretty thing to see.
I believe the word would be “Praise” and the praising would cause a trigger. It’s definitely not silly and sharing it is a definitely good step in the right direction. Obviously everyone has their own way of coping but I believe that very slow nudges into accepting small and unrelated compliments may help. I also wanna be clear that I don’t know you and I’m no psychologist so what I have said may not be relevant to you but I wish you the best none the less.

I've never been outside of the States, but for a while i only watched shows that had European accents, and for about 5 months i spoke with an accent that ranged from essex, to scottish, to irish. I even managed a french accent, and sometimes I still slip into one unintentionally. I freak people out a lot and sometimes i do it to ness with them...

I got an ADHD diagnosis recently and I've gotten really interested other types of neurodiversity. I think before I was diagnosed, it was kind of stressful to learn about this type of stuff but now that I know where I am mentally, I can enjoy this type of content a lot more.
