I lived in Juneau for a few years and can't wait to move to Fairbanks in January. I've never lived in Anchorage but I've been through there a lot before the pandemic.
BTW I'm a born and raised Alaskan. Currently live in downtown Anchorage. When it's this cold and your talking /walking cover your mouth with a scarf or mask to protect your lungs from the cold. Your short of breath and got a light cough. Stay warm and healthy my friend
Two BIG thumbs up on your walking tour of downtown. Slowing down the tour lets people see street signs and read shop names etc., much easier than when you are on your bike or scooter. We thoroughly enjoyed this video.
I remember walking that section of 5th avenue many times in the 1970's. I left Anchorage in 1980. Don't miss it much. But do like to see how it's changed.
Love your channel! My husband and I are planning to move to Anchorage after I'm done with Med School always found Alaska so beautiful and looks so peaceful!
I’ve been waiting for this video. I grew up in Anchorage but moved down to the lower 48 back in 98. I worked in the 5th avenue mall when I was in High School (East High Class of 97). There was a Burger King in the food court. During Fur Rondy, the line would start back at the escalator.

Just decided to check out Anchorage after watching another video where it was featured for its strategic location. I live in Miami Florida and Anchorage just does not register down here. Interesting to see life in a city in the non tropical frozen extreme North.
Glad see you guys still have freedom. As we here New york we going back to restrictions. Mask mandates and some r fast food are not allowing people indoors. Have marry Christmas.
I was there in September and want to go back badly. I especially miss the reindeer dogs there. Wanting to go back in September again, I liked that there wasn’t a lot of tourist so I got to enjoy the city to myself I would like to take my girlfriend.
Hi Nu! I was the guard that you met earlier. It was an honor to meet you there

Great video!! 0:51 What's that skeleton looking building on the left? Looks like unfinished or gutted or abandoned.
Bank, it was damage in the 2018 earthquake. It’s now all remodeled on the exterior.

49th State and the Glacier Brewhouse were two of my favorite restaurants in Anchorage. I recommend both of them.
I liked F Street Station best. Snow City Cafe also.
There is no one there … yet business are open and full swing … that’s what I love about US
The 4th Ave theater is haunted. I had been in there a long time ago before they shut down.
Nice walking tour, Mr Mayor Nu
Yesterday at the 5th Avenue Mall it had a power outage i not lieing man it true and everyone had to go home
Don't forget Ian's game Paradise used to be in Northway Mall

Great to see no one wearing face masks everywhere they go.
