Be careful with the K&N filters...they had a recall a couple of years ago because of leaking oil after tightening with the wrench. If you read the fine print, it says the wrench is for taking off the filter but they recommend tightening by hand. I almost damaged my bike because i didn’t realize it was leaking slowly and only realized when I saw the oil spots in my garage.
Way too tight on that oil filter and most likely too tight on that drain plug. Always torque drain plug to spec and for the filter spin it on with two fingers till it's snug and then give it one twist by hand. That's it. Other than that great video.
I believe the K&N calls for 3/4-1 turn after it bottoms out hand/finger tight and that’s about where I’m at. Drain plug is basically hand tight then crushed with less than a 1/4 turn after bottoming out, though understandably it looks like I’m putting a lot of force through that little lever arm of the Allen key set, I didn’t actually turn the plug much. Appreciate the input and constructive criticisms though, thanks 👍🏽
very informative video, everything was in detail and the camera angel was perfect....just wondering about the quad lock mount,,,if you get chance , is it possible to get a video on how you mount quad lock for navigation, i heard it's bit of a headache to fit on this bike due to clips on...thank you
Nice video! Thanks! Can you please share information about paddock and bobbin what you used. I am looking for right paddock to do an oil change/maintenance on my Thruxton R.

I use Hiflofiltro’s HF204RC on mine.
Is that way always. Never tight with the wrench.
Good tip re: the K&N filter - thanks.

Your kick stand has dented the tail pipe
It comes that way to clear the kickstand I believe
You don't even own a Thurxton do you , because if you did you would know it's there by design
