36 Hours in Kanazawa, Japan | What to do?!

May 4 - 6, 2024, we spent 36 hours in Kanazawa, Japan. Was it enough time? Definitely not! Kanazawa is a hidden gem and should not be missed.
Where we stayed:
ANA Crown Plaza, beside Kanazawa station
Where we ate:
Oriental Brewing
Ramen Taiga
Ochimo Market
Kirari sushi
Mister Donut
What we did:
Kanazawa Highlights Tour, including Kenrokuen Garden, booked on Viator. This included Omicho Market, the Samurai District and Samurai House, Geisha District, Kenrokuen Garden, and Kanazawa Castle.
Our tour guide was very sweet and helpful, and even offered to take us to a pharmacy to help read labels to find allergy medicine.
My only regret is not staying in Kanazawa longer!

the bus system in Kanazawa was very confusing for us too! We often ride the wrong bus that doesn't accept IC and would go a different direction. We ended up taking a cab in kanazawa just to save us time. :)
