Absolutely
Muir woods is well worth a visit😊!!
That’s awesome! Will they pull you up?
It was very cool 😎🥶! Yes, as soon as you hit the water, the team starts pulling you back towards the ladder and then helps pull you up the ladder.
Thank you for your tour. It looks wonderful. How long was your cruise?
Thanks for watching! Our cruise was 11 days, but only 9 days were at sea.
Why do you block out 3/4 of the screen? That is frustrating, so I just skip over it.
When on this trip, I had no idea that I would make a youtube video, so most of the videos I took were vertical on my cellphone. Considering my disappointment in the cruise, I decided to use the only videos that I had. I know it's not the best 😄 . We obviously are not professional photographers or videographers, but I still wanted to share my experience. Thank you for watching.
@@Kinny_and_JJ Fear not. You will surely improve. I look forward to seeing future videos from you.
Sounds grossly overpriced, considering what is included, or NOT included.
Ireland and Scotland hardly sounds like an Expedition. They are very modern and civilized places.
Expedition cruise means a smaller ship, usually less than 300 people, so that you can get to smaller ports. It's supposed to be more geared toward learning, having scientists on board to give lectures on the ecosystem. Also, typically, it means there's more adventurous activities that are included in the price, vs having to pay for excursions at each stop. Unfortunately, I felt like Hurtigruten missed the mark on all these.
Stupid post. The title says "crossing the Drake Passage" and NOT "All About the inside of the ship"
Good video. Still pronouncing kanazawa wrong. Con-nah-zah-wah, not Can-nah-zah-wah but whateve, they still understood.
Oh, interesting! Thank you for the feedback!
Love your video of Kanazawa! Thank you for sharing your experience!❤
the bus system in Kanazawa was very confusing for us too! We often ride the wrong bus that doesn't accept IC and would go a different direction. We ended up taking a cab in kanazawa just to save us time. :)
😆 I'm glad we weren't the only ones!
Here is the answer to whether it is "worth it." If the cost is irrelevant to you, then it is "worth it." We wouldn't go if we couldn't get a comfortable room. We assume the cost is irrelevant to anyone renting one of these rooms.
They have a box for outdoor cushions now. This is the best suite on the ship. I wouldn't like to navigate the stairs in the Wintergarden during rough seas. It's on the stern so wags back and forth a bit in heavy seas.
I'm glad they have storage for the outdoor cushions now! I imagine the ship and service will continue to improve over time.

very cute!!!!!!
Hi I am planning to go on my honeymoon in 2025 . How much was the cost including submarine and helicopters ride ?
Hi! I believe the prices have gone up for the 2024-2025 season. The Seabourn website can provide a price, depending on your category of room. We did not do a helicopter ride (although that would have been really cool), but the Submersible was an extra $1000 per person. If you do decide to book a cruise, I suggest calling the cruise company. You may get a better price.
Are those icicles 🥶 forming on your beard?
Hahaha! Not quite. I'm sure it would have been icicles if we were out there a little longer.
Great video. I appreciate the time you took for this in depth review. One of the best I have seen for Seabourn.
Great video! Thank you! 🙏❤️
Glad you enjoyed it!
I thought this video is about how you guys crossed drake passage but it's about the ship tour.. Hopeless.
Sorry you were disappointed. When crossing the Drake, you are stuck on a ship for days, so what I showed is truly what it's like crossing it.
EXCELLENT video. Very professional. Now....I wanna go on Seabourn to Antarctica.
Thank you! It is a trip of a lifetime, with a matching price tag, but it is definitely worth it!
The British Isles is a group of islands in Europe that includes Great Britain, Ireland, and several smaller islands. It is divided into two main political entities: the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland. The British Isles have been inhabited for thousands of years and have a rich history and culture.
Thank you! It was interesting learning about the British Isles.
Looks like fun! I was hoping for the shake!
Even though I was seasick, I was also hoping for more of the shake!
Hi, what was the duration (days) of the trip? 7?
Hi! Our trip was 11 days (December 17th- 28th). However, the first and last days were basically travel days from/to Benos Aires.
Enjoying this as I’m trying to get into Antarctic waters and journey
Thank you! Let me know if you have any questions.
Really cool! Good to know that the submarine ride is more about the experience than seeing items. This way, I won't set my expectations too high, haha. Do you know how deep you went?
We went down 88 meters / 289 feet, but I think it varies depending on the site you are at. And yes, just make sure your expectations aren't too high. Even though we didn't see much, we still had a really good time!
Very good, I'm loving your channel. I live in Brazil and I'm interested in going on this cruise. Have you taken the submarine ride? Do you know its cost?
Thank you for the feedback! We did go on the sub excursion. I'll be showing some clips from it in an upcoming video. The cost was $1000 per person.
Awesome editing Kendra! I’m going to have to start sending you my videos to edit!
Thanks, Brent! Editing is hard! I'm learning a little more with each video.
My new favorite channel. The editing and information provided in this short video is phenomenal. Great work Kinny & JJ!
Thanks, Eric! We appreciate the support!
Wow! love this channel. Very informative and to the point. Keep up the great work!
Much appreciated!
An amazing couple!
Love your new channel! Looking forward to all your adventures that lie ahead!
Laughs… most likely we will chicken out doing this… but loved your ice-frigid dive together.
Thanks again for watching! We booked directly with AA. And I forgot to mention that a meal was provided on the chartered flight. We enjoyed the bus tour in Ushuaia. Each bus was provided a local guide, so we learned a lot about the area and found it interesting. We arrived at the ship around 1pm and went straight inside through security, without any lines. The rooms were still not ready, so everyone was invited to eat lunch and explore the ship until the rooms were ready (around 2 pm). And you were welcome to get off the ship to explore Ushuaia more- just had to be back before the ship set sail. We are happy to answer any other questions 😊
Another great video… the descriptions of the smooth and bumpy parts were nicely articulated with a splendid blend of humor. Neither of us speak anything but English… and it’s actually southern English at that… so the heads up on the language was helpful. Asks: 1) Did you use Seabourn travel to set up your AA flights to MIA & EZE or do that on your own? 2) Did you feel that Seabourn took good care of you once off the plane in Ushuaia? (Being bussed around for a “tour” after all that flying seems a bit rocky- but figure they use that time to “flip the boat.” 3) When it was time to board Pursuit… did that go smoothly- or were there clumsy lines to wait? Love your stuff! Dave & Barbara in Alabama
Fantastic review… one of the best and most informative videos we’ve seen- pithy & direct- covered the important areas and very clearly separating vivid observations from personal opinions- something rare today. We are headed on this same trip on our next adventure- your video and thoughts were helpful. Thank you.😊
Thank you for the kind words! The trip was absolutely amazing! It was definitely the trip of a lifetime. I have no doubt that you will have a fantastic time. The Seabourn Pursuit is a gorgeous ship, the expedition team is well qualified, and the overall cruise was organized very well. We will be posting videos on our entire trip soon. Safe travels on your adventure!
Can’t wait to see them… you guys are amazing
Did you guys feel that you NEEDED to get cash for your time in Buenos Aires- or would most places take AX?
@barbarabreland until recently Argentina is still a mostly cash-baaed country. I think more and more places are starting to take visa and mastercard, but we found that most tips needed to be in cash.
Thank you
