Hey there! Thank you for posting this tutorial. Is there a way see the information of how much a pattern has been scaled? Lets say you would like to know how many percent the 2nd object have been scaled after not opening the file for a long time? Thank you!

Good question I thikn the propteries or transform panel will tell you when you select the object so open those panels.

Using the scale toool then tick off the box that says scale.object, only scale the pattern.

How can I save scaled pattern in swatches?

Save two versions (seperate swatches) one at a bigger size and one smaller, just click the + button it should add it when you slect the pattern.

Lets say I have a rectangle with a line in between. I have filled two patterns (One above the line and second in the line below within the rectangle) with live paint tool. When I scale the pattern both the patterns gets scaled. I want to scale only one pattern and keep the second pattern same.........How to do it ?............And also how to save the scaled pattern as a new pattern in the swatches ?

Do to seperate boxes , then use object scale and untick to box in the panel that says scale objects, make sure scale patterns is tcked, then select the pattern and click + button in swtaches

Select shape with patten in it. Object > Rotate > tick patterns untick objects then rotate.
