Mississippi has adopted a new flag since this book was printed. The new one is beautiful and doesn’t feature the Confederate flag. It’s worth checking out.
Greetings from Russia! I would like to thank you for your work. This information wasn't new for me (even though I'm not an American), but it was extremely interesting to remember a state or two (especially the northeastern ones) Thanks to you, this was incredible!
Great video once again, your ASMR is amazing Personally, I prefer your video formats where you’re ‘rambling’ or talking off the cuff, rather than reading from a book - but that’s just me. I enjoyed this nonetheless!
Another American here, I can confirm we know how to say greenwich. However, I am in the northeast, and that may play a role in this ordeal. As you go further south or west, green-witch may become more prevalent.
00:10:57 You may be more familiar than you think regarding the Mummers Parade. It is essentially a derivation and watering down by centuries and an ocean of distance of... ahem... The Morris Dancing tradition, with much of the very awkward "Moor" makeup, though like in Britain this aspect has been getting years of bad press. I don't think there's any dancing with the Mummers though, it's just a bunch of Eagles fans getting drunk in uh, "costumes." Or that's what it used to be. I would be so embarrassed of this tradition if I were from Philly....
I'm from Kentucky. Beautiful state of rolling hills and lots of green. Heads up, if you do Kentucky, Louisville is not pronounced like the Kings name, it is "Luu vulle"😅
Absolutely love your channel. These videos and the football videos have transformed my sleep over the last few months. The space one was a huge favourite of mine as I myself am obsessed with space, are you going to be doing anymore around that topic?
Pittsburgh native here! Thanks for getting to PA quickly. Hearing you attempt/butcher some of the native American place-names was entertaining for sure.
I would also like to know the answer to one question During the American revolution canadian colonies didn't rise up against the British. Why? Apart from Quebec, they had the same problems with the British as the Americans did. And they also had the same legal status, if I'm not mistaken

It's SO pretty. My state flag is awful (NY) and the new Mississippi flag makes me envious.
@@LilitouArizona here, I feel like the kool aid man raining on both your guys parade 😆
It's at least much better than the new flag of Minnesota
@@clouds-rb9xtI love that one but not everyone does lol
@@ACVRG1I’m from Michigan
Love this. Hope you do the whole country.
Wow you have a lot of fans from New England I guess based on the comments, you gotta serve up the rest, great stuff

Noted!
interesting enough, I believe most people still pronounce greenwich the British way in the states
Huh, really?
I can confirm this
Yes as opposed to Massachusetts city Worcester (“woh-staah”)

Pascagoula...Check out Ray Stevens' classic comedy song Mississippi Squirrel Revival, which takes place there...
Thanks!

West PA here as well, I love seeing the state mentioned
Sending love from Connecticut ❤ New Haven has the best pizza in the US btw
Didn't know that about New Haven and pizza...did know it had produced Richard and Karen Carpenter, though, so the pizza is superfluous...😁
This was great can you do New Hampshire as well?
You didn’t do too bad with Monongahela and Allegheny. Definitely better than many Americans do with some British place names 🤭
You should do Oregon, I’ve heard it’s a very beautiful state
Fried catfish is a favorite of mine.
Is it nice then?? Is it similar to any other fish?
@@WelshASMR82Maps I would say that it's not very different from other types of fish, cod for example.
Minnesota!!

No te entendi nada, pero muy relajante
Merci pour la vidéo :)
Do Ohio!! :)
Connecticut really said copy paste with its city's names
don't look at New Hampshire...
my state was not mentioned in this video (i live in rome)
Oachita is pronounced “Wash-i-tah” but don’t worry, everyone gets it wrong 😂
Thanks for the help!
Nice
When are we getting more GeoGuessr videos? 👀
Türkçe altyazı lütfen 😢
Can you do N Carolina please? I am a follower of NBA Team Charlotte Hornets.
!
You chose all the states that voted for the orange baby with the exception of Connecticut lol
