Morris Dam in the ‘50’s had a U.S. Mklitary torpedo testing area. It looks as it is gone. I’ve been on the extension - Crystal Lake to Angeles HgWy 2 be for the slide. One of Paladin’ episodes I believed filmed here.

I was thinking of checking out Crystal Lake but isn't Hwy 39 closed? Cal Trans website says it is.

It's open from Azusa to Crystal Lake. I was in Mt Baldy Wednesday and i was surprised the snow hasn't melted.
