I have three cards with American Express… I was told that once you receive a total of 25,000 credit limit across-the-board you may open yourself up to financial review
My three are a little over 30,000 and I have not been required to produce any financial documents. I truly appreciate my relationship with American Express. I could see myself downgrading or eliminating other bank cards and sticking to American Express only.

How long you waited? And how much balance you had when requested it?
I also got the BCE as my first Amex card with a $2000 starting limit, and 96 days later, I requested a CLI to $7000, got $6000. It was saying that my account was too new when I tried from 91-94 days after account opening. I hope to get another 3x in July 🙃

Hey Carl my experience was a lot different then what you’re saying I’ve Requested serval time for a CL in each time I was refuse denied .
So I moved CL from another Amex card with a Higher CL to my
Blue cash card . That how I got A credit Incase .I have seen were they offer me the
Preferred BC card .

I got approved for my first AMEX Delta Gold card on March 21st and a Hilton Surpass card on March 28 with 5K limits each. On April 29th I for some reason wanted to see if I was ambitious to apply for the Delta Platinum card and I was instantly approved!!! When can I ask for my first credit limit increase on my first two cards. I heard 60 days or is it 90days ?
Just got my first amex card, bce with a 2k limit. Need something with a higher limit since the highest card i have is only a 6500 sl.
Not sure I maybe I did the wrong steps but I got the Amex gold card. I met the spend limit in two months and then I applied and got the platinum card. They did do a second hard pull. Just a data point for you.
How long ago was this? You’re the first I’ve heard this happen to unless you got the business card first then the personal. That’s usually when that happens.
They cap my limit at 900 Blue Preferred Card Amex. All my other Amex are higher limits. I hate the Blue Preferred Card the limit is so low.
Idk if I'm screwed or not. I got an email from several monitoring services that my SSN had been detected on the Dark Web so I put fraud alerts on all 3 big CRA's. Can I still get CLI's with these alerts? Idk....

How how increase the business line of credit with amex?
Spend as a daily I had it 5k first month I spent 3k in a month now twenty lol I was shocked how fast they raised it
But question, between my 3 cards I have a 22.5k limit. I once had a utilization report of like 13% and my score still dropped like 4 points which is below 30%. Why is that?
Did one of those cards go up in utilization by chance?? Total utilization-vs-Utilization on 1 card are 2 different points. I keep a TU around 2 to 3 %. But if I use a higher amount on one card and I don't pay it off by the reporting date, it will/can drop a couple pints. Once it's paid off or paid down extremely low, it'll go back up!👍🏾

Amex be hoeing me I got the Amex blue everyday card with a 1k limit had for a year and no credit limit increase just got the preferred with another 1k limit Experian is 730 and have a total of 70k limits over all my cards 1 navy federal with 25k and 15k limits chase 6k discover 9k

@@MrWillcc2102 This is the "game". They say they "couldn't reach you" by phone. (Even though no one called you) Send you a denial letter. Next time, they say: "You have NO phone number LISTED on your credit report". (Even when people did have a number listed. Still denied) They are full of it. Pick & choose who they want to give CLIs to.

I have a total credit limit of $73,250 across 10 major credit cards and 4 store credit cards. Amex Blue Cash Preferred is my highest limit is $13,000. I am currently only using 2.5% of available credit across all credit cards; why I need more credit?

@@anthonywilliams9415 I'm actually thinking about closing a few of my credit cards though eventually close on their own if I'm not going to use them. Especially Citibank the only way you can really get the best payout with them is travel only through their travel portal.

To lower your overall credit utilization even further thereby increasing your credit score. It’s not about flexing, it’s about the doors it opens.
