WOW! Congrats and great video. People don't fully understand how big that thing is till they are standing under it. I have stared that thing in the face about 3 times now and still have not had the balls to do it. Kudos to you!
Thanks Ty! It's a pretty intimidating feature. I hope you give it a go someday! Since I live about 10 hours away, I just wanted to get it done cause who knows when I'll have the chance to go back.
Thanks man! Maybe it's time for a new catch phrase. "Get in over your head as often as possible" Doesn't have the same ring to it. You killed it as well! I'll never forget this trip!
I've seen this in person and the damned GoPro effect doesn't do it justice, the video had me losing touch with reality and thinking "I might have hit that". You're officially a badass now Kyle! How about that Killer Arcade Games seen at 0:16! I hear that guy is a stud haha. Great video dude!
Thanks Chris. Killer Arcade Games is the only video game channel I would ever subscribe to. The rest of them are garbage! lol. I hope you do send this drop someday. It's really not challenging physically. Just gotta overcome the mental hangup on it.
Epic Kyle. Just watching video of Drop the Hammer makes me nervous lol. You conquered it. Bravo. I did get a laugh out of the 3rd day being a chill ride day rthen seeing Lake Leatherwood lol
Lake Leatherwood was a surprise for sure. I did no research on it at all and assumed it would be flowly like most of Bentonville. I was dead wrong. Even the blues were pretty challenging. Needless to say I didn't film much that day haha.
Sick video man!! Just stumbling upon this as a local just searchin around seeing what other people think of Bentonville and how we can improve as a city. So stoked to see y'all hit the hammer!! Such a sick feature.
Thanks so much! You live in one of the coolest towns and I love visiting there! I know there will be new things to see next time I come up there, and it keeps me coming back. Thanks for watching my video. I was thrilled to drop the hammer.
Cobra Kyle Of course man!! We’re so blessed to live here. I never would’ve imagined that it’d turn out like this. Hopefully by the next time your here we’ve got even better features for ya haha. My pleasure!
Man I want to go to Bentonville soo badly!!! Once the virus will calm down I recommend going to Whitefish MT Resort. It’s sooo fun up there! Nice video!
Bentonville is incredible. Highly recommend. Thanks for the Whitefish suggestion. I've always wanted to go to Montana for some reason. I don't know much about it, so would love to visit. Do you live in that area?
Wow. That feature is nuts. You're awesome man. When i go to Bentonville next year for the first time i do want to see that feature but i know I'll never do it. Looks insane.
Just keep practicing! The drop zone at Slaughter Pen helped us prepare the day before. If you feel comfortable on the biggest drop there, then drop the hammer isn't much harder. It's just more a mental game. Just keep at it on the Slaughter Pen drops, and you'll get this in no time!
Funny story me and my dad were on Coler mountain and I said let's ride cease and desist connected to drop the hammer I think and we decided to hit fire line and looking back at this trail I'm like well its a good thing we didn't ride a double diamond black.
haha. It's for sure an intimidating feature. First time I went to Bentonville I said "I'm never gonna hit that drop", but on this trip I felt ready to roll the dice. It's actually way easier than it looks. Something to train for!
We actually went to the Boneyard the following day this was filmed. My two friends hit the drop there, but I was tired and not wanting to risk it at the time. I did the big step up there though and that was fun. I'll get that drop next time I'm up there!

Incredibly epic video!!! it made me feel all the emotions, and it deserves millions of views! lets go back ASAP.
Yay thanks Taylor! I'm looking forward to the next adventure with you guys.
Congrats on the drop, I can hear the pride building and the anxiety leaving all at the same time once you landed.
That perfectly sums it up! Thank you!
You beat Dan!! Wow, the drop was so SCARY! Excellent video.
I think you mean Ryan lol. I would have been more scared not trying it. One of the best days on a bike for us!
If she did mean Ryan, then she is incorrect.
Great trip, riding, and video. Apparently now staying rowdy within reason means smashing the baddest features on the trail!! You killed it.
Thanks man! Maybe it's time for a new catch phrase. "Get in over your head as often as possible" Doesn't have the same ring to it. You killed it as well! I'll never forget this trip!
pure adrenalin at 4:46! Nice Kyle!
Thanks for checking it out Matt!

You came, you saw, you dropped and shred it!!! Bad ass video man, time to find a new epic feature for you!
We all shredded that place! Great times. My next epic adventure is deciding on which new bike I want.

@@CobraKyle I havn't been to Leatherwood yet. It's on the list but I have read about it and seen video's.
Yes Cobra! That drop is massive - great job!
Thanks buddy! I feel like I became a man that day.
I'm so stoked you cleaned that, long way since Tallahassee!
Thanks Stefano! A long way for sure. Hard to believe that was almost 3 years ago. We'll have to meet up somewhere when the world is back in order.
@@CobraKyle We'll make it happen. Perhaps in Arkansas

Congrats on the drop man! That looks way too scary for me!
Thanks dude! It was pretty nerve racking, but honestly not too bad once you overcome it mentally.
Man I want to go to Bentonville soo badly!!! Once the virus will calm down I recommend going to Whitefish MT Resort. It’s sooo fun up there! Nice video!

Cobra Kyle I actually live in Dallas, but every summer my family go up to whitefish Montana.
Nice work! Definitely a trail to for me to aspire to. Someday
Thank you! Keep practicing your drop technique and you'll be hitting this soon!
Awsome, great job guys keep shredding 🤙🤙🤙

Wow that's awesome! Thanks a lot I appreciate it.
Awesome video Kyle!! Next time I want to go haha.
Thanks Gino! I can't wait to go back!
I’m taking a trip to Bentonville and have watched just about every drop the hammer video. Can’t wait to give it a shot!
Nice! It's really not as bad as it looks. I just went back a couple weeks ago and did it again. Just as fun as the first time!
Dude, that's awesome!!
Thanks a lot!
Well done buddy!
Whoo thanks my friend!
So stoked for you... thanks for sharing bud!
Thank you! I'm still so stoked about this trip. Last thing I did before the whole pandemic. I can't wait to go back to Bentonville.
Get it!
Gettin it!! Whoo!
Wow. That feature is nuts. You're awesome man. When i go to Bentonville next year for the first time i do want to see that feature but i know I'll never do it. Looks insane.
Texas Trail Snakes!
SSSSSSSSSsssss🐍
*panic laughter* 🤣🤣
I was totally losing it at that point haha. I think I was in shock I did it.
Moving there next month. I'm so stoked. Nice video!
Jeff I'm very jealous of your move there. I keep considering it. You're gonna have the best time riding there! Thanks for watching!
Nice, Kyle!
Quit twisting my arm to get an MTB!
Cool vid, keep 'em coming! :)
I think you'd love a mountain bike! Send it Michael!
Just started the video... I'm gonna say you will!
It's like your a mind reader!
Super cool video man I have always wanted to go to bentonville. I think you won for sure on the race
Thank you! Highly recommend you go there...It's incredible!
Sick bro. Seeing you do it makes me think I can do it
You totally got it! Don't let it get in your head, and it's really not too bad.
Where are people going to be able to ride in Austin this 4th of July wkd?
No idea! I live in San Antonio, and they are closing all the parks this weekend due to Covid.
Great video! Drop the hammer looks really big in person.
Thanks! It's a pretty serious drop. I'm so stoked I did it. It would still be eating at me if I hadn't gone for it.
I need to clear this sometime, I'm from bentonville and too scared to hit it myself.
@@CobraKyle Just recently hit the second one, the step up on the third on is pretty intimidtaing.
Woohoo! Nice!
Thanks Brian! Couple years late to the party lol. Covid basically started right after we hit this drop. Seems like a lifetime ago!
Im a coral snake what?
Dan Demore and don’t you forget it!
Probably because of the colors you were wearing lol
Funny story me and my dad were on Coler mountain and I said let's ride cease and desist connected to drop the hammer I think and we decided to hit fire line and looking back at this trail I'm like well its a good thing we didn't ride a double diamond black.

Now that you have done hammer. Go over to boneyard in slaughter pen and do that drop. It's more intimidating for sure
We actually went to the Boneyard the following day this was filmed. My two friends hit the drop there, but I was tired and not wanting to risk it at the time. I did the big step up there though and that was fun. I'll get that drop next time I'm up there!
@@CobraKyle nice! You get it next time! So much new stuff in slaughter pen!
