The best way to grow the new BIGXII brands is by winning. With eight league games this gives all 12 teams a chances to get more noncon wins. Go get those wins against the PAC12, ACC and the G5 so you are the first to get offered a CFP spot outside the SEC and B1G.

I'm all for 8 games. Four pods, with games against your own pod and 2/3 from each other pod. 2023 and 2024 will need some adjustment to that idea, of course.

Anything but Mike Aresco. Seeing who he added to the AAC after the 3 left is enough for me

There's no way he'll get it, not necessarily because of the teams that were selected. To be fair, those schools that were selected were not his choice. He tried to convince Boise, CSU, SDST, and Air Force but none of them were interested (can you blame them?).

The schools he added are better than 75% of the Big12. Let’s see how Kansas would do in the AAC..lol.

There are better than Aresco out there. Every time he steps up to the plate you get a strikeout

The Big 12 is not in as strong of a position as the ACC or Pac-12. Not close. Come on guys. There is not a single athletic program in the Big 12 that as strong as UCLA, USC, Stanford, Oregon, Washington, UNC, Florida State or Clemson. Once UT and OU are gone, there are no keystones holding the conference together. Every single athletic department from every single Big 12 school will be looking for their golden ticket, whether it's WVU to the ACC, Kansas and Iowa State to the Big Ten or Texas Tech, BYU or whoever to the PAC. You're being incredibly naïve if you think the longterm health of the Big 12 is as strong as that of the PAC or ACC.

Kansas is stronger then all of those teams you named

@@kevinkgx They're not and it's not close. I'm not talking about football or basketball or any sports. I'm talking about branding. KU has one of the best basketball brands out there, sure, but in the grand scheme of things, they're a fairly mid-level program.
