Dream Theater is Life! I'm a fan since the early Majesty days. Without even knowing them in person, it feels like they are my best friends and i know them for a lifetime. They helped me trough so many bad times. I have literally no words to describe my feelings for them.
The thing about Dream theatre is that there are a whole host of these clips showing their absolute mastery of their instruments. It is simply incredible how talented they are both individually and collectively.
Hi Travis, Hi Suzie. Thank you so much for reacting to one of my most favourite bands Dream Theater and the brilliant track Endless Sacrifice...taken from Train of Thought a underated DT album in my opinion. I noticed some other my DT friends have suggested This Dying Soul, and In the Name of God... absolutely brilliant tracks...I would also add As I Am, and Honor Thy Father. I really love your channel and the reactions from you guys , Jon and Dolly. Looking forward to your next reaction. Peace and love from Liverpool UK 👍✌️🤘☮️
@Matej Juhás Thanks your reply Matej. I also like Falling Into Infinity and think it is underrated. Many fans ... put it alongside Images and Words, Awake....which are iconic and had Kevin Moore on keyboards. I think the sound did change slightly with Derek Sherinian....but it was still a cracking prog /metal album. Peace man✌️🤘
Train of Thought is an unreal album from start to finish. Heavy, dark and raw/stripped from some of their other albums. “This Dying Soul” and “In the Name of God” are must hits, as is the sick instrumental “Stream of Consciousness” Btw, the bassist John Myung was voted a few years ago as the best currently active rock bass player. He’s one of my favourites
Great classic DT song. They played it on the current tour. The highlight of the song was when Jordan put on the keytar and he lined up with the two Johns and they played together. What an awesome show!
Please react “ HOLLOW YEARS LIVE AT BUDOKAN” ( from the same concert) ! You guys will love it believe me! Pls! I cant wait to see and hear your feelings after that 🙏🏽
Would love for you to check out on of their "outside of the box" songs. It's called Prophets of War. It's Dream Theater meets Muse meets Queen. No real good live version so just check out the studio version
Hey, I know nothing at all about drums but isn't watching Portnoy play just more fun than watching Mangini? I am not saying one is better or worse playing. Just Portnoy is a better showman and it isn't even close.
I don't.. I get to hear w/ him play with Neal Morse, TA, Winery Dogs.. You know the stuff Portnoy wants to do. And we get the incredible Mangini playing w/ Dream Theater.. Both are amazing at what they do.
@@ryant3600 True, both are exceptional at what they do. As a fan of DT from the very beginning, I am personally touched by Portnoy's influences on DT's compositions and lyrics. Unfortunately, the direction in which DT has developed since Mangini is no longer mine. But that's just my personal opinion and I'm happy for the band if they continue to be successful.
This is exactly why i stopped listening to dream theater as all their albums after firing the first two keyboardist songs just turned into musical olympics in other words what’s suppose to be a song is just a platform form mindless incohesive soloing. It’s sad listen to the first two albums after those you’ll realize those songs blew the rest out of the water. Some of liquid tension exp was nice.
I'am waiting for many years Dream Theater This Dying Soul and In the Name Of God
👌👌👌👌👌🎼🎼🎼
Yes Live from Budokan! The outro improvised guitar solo on In the Name of God could destroy the world!
There is not better band then Dream Theater!
And there will not be....😎✌🏽
Agreed!

@@psionic6126 Im new to DT but even for me... Their music is like a very close friend.. so amazing!! The BESTTTTTTT band I've ever heard, !!!
Dream Theater and Persefone 🔥
Live at Budokan! Best concert ever they've done and the Bluray version is INCREDIBLE! All 7 tracks from Train of Thought I love! Best DT album!
The thing about Dream theatre is that there are a whole host of these clips showing their absolute mastery of their instruments. It is simply incredible how talented they are both individually and collectively.
GREATEST Band EVER!! Awesome song choice!! Thank you for playing this.

Every track on that album is fantastic, taken singly or as a whole

This band have some of the best musicians out there.
Dream Theater- In the Name of God live
Definitely my favorite album by Dream Theater. This concert was way over the top
Fun fact. Immediately after this particular show the singer had to be rush out of ther because he was suffering from dehydration and pneumonia

Way to be vague on who or what voted him as "the best currently active rock bass player". Maybe because there's no such thing? Smh.
@@BamaMatters11 MusicRadar named him the best of all time years ago. I don’t think he’s the all-time best, but he is amazing
You should react to the full concert, its so fkn epic🤘🤘🤘

"Nu Metal John Petrucci isn't real, he can't hurt you"
Nu Metal John Petrucci:
Old Dream theater = best Dream Theater
Also, from the same album, In The Name of God is absolutely epic!
You guys have to react to John Petrucci’s (guitarist for Dream Theater) version of Purple Rain, please!!!!
This entire show was epic, should also check out Hallowed Years from this same show.
Suzy really appreciates that bass.....👍
DT- in the name of god live from the same show!!
DREAM THEATER LEARNING TO LIVE 2000 PLEASE!!!!
The beginning of this song also reminds me of How Will I Laugh Tomorrow by Suicidal Tendencies.
E diciamo...STIKAZZI...FANTASTICI
John Myung is the best!
Check the lyrics when can. Petrucci wrote it for his wife.
Rammstein has a new video. "Time" is just amazing!!!
Yessss
Would love for you to check out on of their "outside of the box" songs. It's called Prophets of War. It's Dream Theater meets Muse meets Queen. No real good live version so just check out the studio version
Apocalypse by Any Given Day next please 🙏
Sleep well ! Ssssshhh😫

Hard agree
Is there even a band with Mike Portnoy on drums that is bad ? I think not !
Oh Mike Portnoy - i miss you...

My sweet lady,you are beautiful!😍😍
React to hollow years live at the budokan
PORTNOY
Please react to GIMME GIMME - ABOUT US... It's a Northeast Indian band 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙂
This is silly-tier music. They were on fire back then.
no mangini. true dt
Sounds like a Metallica cover crossed ith the Scorpions
The intro Sounds alot like a Metallica Song
What about Give In to Me by Michael Jackson
Awesome
69th comment baby!
Dream theater - in the name of God, please

That Jordan Rudess bit is fun but SO annoying and corny lol.
