Length is a format of it's own, seamus makes shorts. He does it well, he or current events sets up and the punchline is delivered, the stare from the dog after the stereo break, going back to dancing, a quick laugh as opposed to a long series. Daily Wire is basically a side of the same coin as Velma and the like, a show made from spite as opposed to even remotely liking the medium.

Its definitely hitting on all the right notes. The biggest issue with anti-woke cartoons that have come out so far, is that they are family guy clones and that's just stupid. Which leads to the main characters being jerks rather than sympathetic. In this climate where politics is basically sports teams, people find it hard to let their main characters actually get taken down a peg. Beat down. Let them even be incorrect. This would allow for more sympathy, you know, so that they are *actually people?* Not just ideological symbols. They also overexaggerate their opposition to the point it cant be taken seriously, because I guess that's how cartoons are supposed to be to most people. And freaking goodness the left is so insane you shouldnt HAVE TO exaggerate their positions. This little animation fixes all of those issues, its subtle but it works so well.

A lot of the anti-woke shows have one of the same issues the super woke stuff has, its politics over quality. Same reason most Christian entertainment sucks, so busy making sure the message is smacking people in the face that they forget to make the show good.

Length is a format of it's own, seamus makes shorts. He does it well, he or current events sets up and the punchline is delivered, the stare from the dog after the stereo break, going back to dancing, a quick laugh as opposed to a long series. Daily Wire is basically a side of the same coin as Velma and the like, a show made from spite as opposed to even remotely liking the medium.
Mr. Birchum is definitely lacking in that department, what I can't stand how people act like its worse than say Allen Gregory, where an 8 year old fantasizes about having sex with his obese elderly principal. I think the hate comes from how it looks and that the Daily Wire made it, with how many people in animation are the artsy fartsy types that have always been more liberal and because it wasn't stellar people act like its the worst thing ever when its decent.

I don't think ignoring them completely is necessary, stuff in the 90s made fun of political correctness a lot and it worked, they just didn't make it the point of the entire show or movie.

The biggest issue with anti-woke cartoons that have come out so far, is that they are family guy clones and that's just stupid. Which leads to the main characters being jerks rather than sympathetic.
In this climate where politics is basically sports teams, people find it hard to let their main characters actually get taken down a peg. Beat down. Let them even be incorrect.
This would allow for more sympathy, you know, so that they are *actually people?* Not just ideological symbols.
They also overexaggerate their opposition to the point it cant be taken seriously, because I guess that's how cartoons are supposed to be to most people. And freaking goodness the left is so insane you shouldnt HAVE TO exaggerate their positions.
This little animation fixes all of those issues, its subtle but it works so well.

I'm white and I remember watching and enjoying Family Matters, and I've come to really appreciate the original Fresh Prince of Bel Air, among other shows from back in the day, and those two shows were focused on black families.

What you get instead is a show that's cringe and unfunny, and just so happens to appeal to the other side of the political spectrum. Woke comedy is just making statements without actually telling a joke, so it's equally unfunny when an anti-woke show just states what it's target audience already believes in. We need entertainment. You know, I'd thought about making a youtube video about how anti-woke shows would fail for the same reasons that woke shows fail---or at least, more _of_ those reasons than the average anti-woke viewer would think.
The joke I'd start with for that youtube video would more or less be this: "Picture this scenario: it's Sunday morning, you plant your butt in front of your favorite screen, you switch it on---what are you looking for? You're looking for _entertainment_. You are _not_ looking to get preached at! I started the scenario by saying it was Sunday morning: if you _wanted_ to get preached at, you'd be in _church_ !!"

I showed this video to my dog, he wasn't very interested but he was excited that everyone around him was excited, my wife and eldest daughter thought it was great...of course they liked _the pug_ ...My younger children didn't really understand what was going on but they liked the music and they danced along with the doggo!
