You’re absolutely right. An LCS near me said they’re getting a higher premium due their popularity. They’re one of the most eye catching Bullion coins as well
Agreed, which is why about 2/3 of my stack is in gold and silver Maples. Beautiful coins, for sure, and a bit cheaper than Eagles. Also like that they have fractional variations.
Great video as always!!! I feel the same way as you, I dont like slabbed coins. I want to feel the coin with my bare fingers. I am more connected with the coin if I can actually hold it. Looking at all that gold is great inspiration to keep stacking. Thanks for sharing

Hey I love your channel, I’ve been watching for a couple of months. Brand new to Metal Stacking , while I’ve been doing my research the only metals truly worth stacking in my opinion is gold and maybe platinum. I feel as though silver is so over saturated because that’s what people can afford and in the essence it will never have real value. Would you agree?
I think silver has potential. I just don't think the premiums make sense. Platinum is a tough call. I don't think of it as a monetary metal, so it's in a different category to me. Gold makes the most sense to me. Cheers!
@@2is1gold I agree and once asked myself this question: "What can platinum do for me that gold cannot?". I had no good answer for that, so went with gold after completing my silver stacking goal. To me, Pt is an industrial metal and one that seems likely to have a declining need due to the demise of the IC engine and the waste exhaust gases it produces during its operation. Electric, fuel cells, and H2 are likely to replace petro-fueled vehicles, except for aircraft and maybe ships and heavy trucks. After that, it could be micro-fusion power for just about everything. He got better over time. Older videos weren’t as polished, he’s getting really good at this. His music choices are so top notch that I could literally cry
Enjoyed this one mate, love seeing the Perth Mint high relief.. I'm so tempted to buy a 2oz high relief 2023 Kangaroo - I need to fly to Perth to check it out in person - but the premium is so big.. Most of my stack in Au is 1oz cast bars and 20g Valcambi in assay (for tax reasons!) - I've only recently been stacking 1oz Au Gold Kangaroos and some fractional as well - and proud to say my son who is 16 and started at 14 spending his KFC paycheck on Au and Ag .. I must send him this video for inspiration. It's so hard not to say more but it's scary in case people try to find out where you live.
Very nice 👍I'm with you on the Perth mint coins. They are high quality with lower premiums. I've been buying 1 and 2oz coins due to lower premiums. But I do think I should get 1/2oz and 1/4oz coins more for liquidity.
Amazing collection brother. Love it! I enjoy my lunar 3s as well. I also have 5 pre 33 in slabs that i would love to break out, but thats not happening lol. Thanks for sharing all in 1 vid ✌🏻
Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting this video! I loved it! It gave me some "gold fever". hehe The vast majority of my stack is in the form of Pre-33 US gold (as I am a numismatist at heart). I like the double security of bullion and numismatic value working together. However, recently I've become interested in purchasing some of the old European gold coins (ducats, francs, kroners, sovereigns, etc...) as the premiums don't seem to be as high. What say you?
Wow, incredible stack you presented! For stacking, I stick with the AGEs & Buffalos since I live in the south (Roll Tide!), very little, if any, interest in overseas gold down here. I do collect the 1/10ths from the Perth, fell in love with them when I began my stacking journey. Didn't know they minted ultra high relief, incredible coins! As you said, backfilling is difficult if you didn't get started with a series when it first drops. But I think I'll try to backfill the 1/10ths from Perth hopefully 🤷♂ I am slowly backfilling the AGEs in all their sizes. Why? Why not, It's fun to do. Yes it will be expensive, however I have the means to do so comfortably. (Again a slow process! 🤣) Also buying one each of the 1/10th gold each year from the major overseas bullion: Maple, Brits, Krug, etc, again just to collect. FOMO myself and got last year's Liberty as well, very happy I did. I am looking forward to this year's gold Liberty (and in silver) for sure. I even took advantage of the Mint's "special offer" they had with the American Liberty Gold Coin (2017 & 2018) 24-Karat Bonus Offer. Very happy with that purchase! Now backfilling the gold Liberties...yeah doubtful, but you never know what you'll run into! Enjoyed this video a lot. I've inspired me, I may do a similar video, but my backdrop will a slide rule, a Fluke multimeter, and my textbook on Thermodynamics🤓 We got a little glimpse into the man behind these "Hands-N-Coins" 😉 One suggestion for next time, have one of your favorite high quality "adult beverage" on display in the background. You have a sophisticated taste that I admire, while still being grounded. BTW... Is your quote from Lucius Annaeus Seneca the Younger? I'm asking for a friend
I live in the UK - love your videos. I started out buying Buffaloes and some Eagles but because of the capital gains tax implications, I’ve sold all of them and switched to Britannias mainly. I also love Perth Mint and the Tudor Beasts series.
Big Friday Flex FTW. LOL Nice! Brits and Buffs is rather mundane in comparison. Now let's discuss the tomfoolery that's still afoot in the world--CBDCs, debt at knee bending level, banks folding like origami and other cheery topics. hahahaha Have a great weekend. Cheers!
I'm never more nervous than when I transport metals to or from my vault. Two hands on the wheel, 10 and 2, super defensive. While I'm not worried about carjackings or John Wick type scenarios, I think of an incapacitating car accident, or even a non-incapacitating event where I am conscious enough to know that I likely cannot trust whoever shows up to rubberneck the scene. I'd like to have more faith in humanity, but, the world is a funny place. The half eagle Indian is also one of my favorites along with the $10 "Indian" (Lady Liberty in the native headdress). You have a beautiful collection. I have been simplifying the gold stack while the price is up. Getting rid of the non.999 foreign stuff and sticking with AGEs, Buffaloes and other .999(9) gold. Have a nice weekend. I'll be roaming the desert.
I’m jealous of your desert adventures. I have a RZR and some short rifles about to be shelved with new rules. Because I always follow the rules. By the way, if you get in a car wreck give me a call! I’ll run support! 😅
Great vid of part of your stack. Thanks for sharing. That is a great stack indeed! Well kept and handled based on the metal composition, finish and presentation. Lots of ppl are missing out cos they dont know what they can and cant handle for fear of damaging or their coins. Good to hear sound impartial advice and the options. You have gone into how much of net worth ahould goes to gold and how to dollar average buy. I just missed the recent low for some royal mint purchases. Too much concentration on work I guess. Would really like to hear your asset split in percentages and what you are working towards as an end goal (if any). It would be great to hear what your approximate earnings are some that ppl can work out what to do by normalising this with their earnings and expectations (up or down).
I started stacking a little over a year ago. When it comes to gold I go for cheapest premiums on any uncirculated pure gold coin. Most of the time I find Maples are the best deals.
Ya i know what you mean i have a passion for old bank notes but theyre not worth much today compared if i had bought gold in its place, but since its a passion i tend to spend some on them, i find older notes beautiful stylistic and you can watch them for loads of time and still not find all the details
Sticking with Eagles and Maples for now, but I have a weakness for Perth Lunars. Thanks for the tip that when buying the Lunars that it is best to get them soon after they are released for the lowest premiums. Price matters, as I may sell if I lose interest, just as you mentioned!
I’m waiting on the Phoenix to come back in stock. I can’t find the year of the mouse in any form, and I can’t find the year of the bull in one ounce. It’s the only gold I’ll buy at the moment.
Pre-33 St. Gaudens double eagle is the most beautiful, historic coin not to appear in your collection. Yeah, I suppose you have the high-relief 2020 in hand; but if gold takes a deflationary dive this year, it overcomes the premium and maybe you pick one up. 👍
I admire your collection. Looks like you took some time and dedication. For me it's just getting out of the dollar for something that's more tangible and holds value. I'm not so much worried about the collection of different kinds I just stick with the Eagles and Buffalo's for the most part and a few Maples and krugerrands
My own stack is similar to yours with the exception of the Buffaloes. I've never liked that design, not sure why, but it just never appealed to me. My gold stack is all Eagles, Maples, and a few Britannias. Nothing exotic or artsy, just good solid gold that I can rely on during hard times. Most of this is in 1-oz. coins with a little bit of 1/2 oz. and 1/4 oz. coins. I know that these fractionals cost more per oz. than the 1-oz. coins but I'm OK with that because of the flexibility they allow me to have when selling. I don't have a lot of the fractionals, just some that I can use if I ever want to sell some gold but less than full ounces.
It’s nice to pull your stuff out once in awhile and gather in one spot. I think that $2,000 floor is made of balsa… the real floor is at least $200 lower. Time will tell. I have an eye on a 1/4 AGE this weekend and a gold Buffalo sometime in June. My favorite, Liberty Head Eagles, are getting hard to find at good grade, unslabbed and reasonably priced. Slabbed are even higher, which would make me think twice about breaking them out of prison once I got them. Take care.
@@2is1gold Dunno. The debt ceiling uncertainty will be over soon. Down last 3 days on above average volume. Broke down out of a triangle. MCAD has rolled over. Dollar is gaining strength. And the Robin outside my door is singing “Paul is dead,” backwards. Well, maybe not Paul 😉 Take care.
I like to keep my gold simple Buffalos and AGE’s for my base stack. Although lately, I have been fighting the urge to add the Perth Mint Lunar series. I came across and purchased a Lunar Rabbit for a steal, or at least what I thought it was, until it started to give me Lunar fever. They are very crisp/sharp coins. My White Rhino and Mexican 50 pesos are my favorite. I also have converted some generic silver round stock into my gold base stock here lately.
Sweet gold porn video! I havent bought any pre-33 so far this year. I schedule 6 double eagles per year along with my normal bullion buys. I'll probably do a video about the vaulting companies I use overseas once I am more comfortable recommending them. (Or not recommending them) Waiting to release a video of some gold I sent off to one of my vaults. (They received the package, just waiting on them to show it in my segregated account)
Maybe it’s just me but there is always so much more too intake from your videos, thanks for leading the way. And if I could ask you a question? As someone with your means how do you feel about those Really big coins? I think they are 12oz maybe.
If SD Bullion has storage that would probably be a good place. They seem pretty cool and the guy that wouldn't let Yankee do squat would be looking after your stuff. I'd say that's pretty safe ¦-)
I love the US pre-33 but getting it in Canada involves tax so I haven't bought any in a while. That's a fantastic pile of shiny. Thanks for sharing the (not) full stack with us!
Be careful buying from JM Bullion. I recently bought a 2023 Myths and Legends Phoenix from them, and it arrived in a shattered capsule, with a thumbprint in the middle of the coin. In the time it took me to repackage and return, they'd sold out of that coin, so exchange wasn't an option. They didn't argue with me at all when I described the condition of the coin, which leads me to believe that they knew they'd sent me a thumbprint with a coin on it, to paraphrase from Seinfeld. This experience brings a close my business with JM Bullion.
Canadian Maple or King Charles Britannia? Which oz of gold would hold its value better in the US? I definitely prefer Buffalo and Eagles, but the premiums are super high, and this month, my gold allowance is a little shorter than normal.
I carry my gold on me lol some call me crazy but i also carry my pew pew. Ive been robbed in the past where they took the entire safe and I'd rather keep my gold on me now
@@2is1gold No. I have purchased so many beautiful proof coins at no more than spot + 2% and have done very well. BTW, Eagles in Canada are not popular, mostly due to tax and 22K. Buffaloes are better, no tax but premiums are nuts. Best are maples, Britannias, and Perth kangaroos. all 9999 and low premiums. Eagles and Buffaloes fetch no more when sold back.
How much do the Gold Lunar High Relief coins go for when t they are first released? I see APMEX has the Rabbit for like $2800, wasn’t sure if that was crazy or around what they go for when first released
I’m missing the Perth Mint Ox and Mouse lunar years 😢. 2 is 1, if you’re thinking about selling them, I’ll offer you $200 or $250 over spot for each of them. 😂 I want to collect all 12 of them 🙏
I'm actually about to buy my first pre 33 double eagle... want to build a tube of 20 .. 10 st. gaudens and 10 liberty heads... would you buy AU or BU ?
For me, I could only do Buffaloe’s, fractional Eagles and pre-33s. I could not do high premium (non pre33) coins or low premium exotic coins. I worry about two things: excessive payment of premium and difficulty of sale of exotics
It's funny sometimes what people you have known for a long time reveal. He has known that I have stacked for a long time. He pulled out a big Crown Royal bag and dumped out 99 pre 1933 20 dollar gold St Gaudens. The only thing that held me in my seat was that tall stiff drink
I bought MSFT and TSLA and AMZN and AAPL 10, 15, 20 years ago too. I think of gold as a backup account that allows me to get in on some IPOs and general investments. I try not to have it be an either / or situation. Cheers!

of this is in 1-oz. coins with a little bit of 1/2 oz. and 1/4 oz. coins. I know that these fractionals cost more per oz. than the 1-oz. coins but I'm OK
with that because of the flexibility they allow me to have when selling. I don't have a lot of the fractionals, just some that I can use if I ever want
to sell some gold but less than full ounces.
@@edb3877 should we get the design canceled for racism 😂then watch the value go up 📈
@@InappropriateShorts lol I can see where that would benefit those who have buffaloes in their stack.
Maybe a knife collection showcase?
What is that? ~80 ounces of gold? Imagine that same value in silver! The camera couldn't zoom out far enough!
Ha!
Take care.
The whole house is made of balsa. 😄 200 day EMA is around $1,900. It looks pretty good all things considered. Cheers!
Well, maybe not Paul 😉
Take care.
Great selection.
🤜🤛
My first goal was 10oz gold and once I got there I wanted more so 20oz was my next goal.. It never ends when you get bit by the gold bug 🐞
Infinitely expanding.
@@2is1gold Now that’s well said, it is Infinitely expanding ✊ I just keep on keeping on 😎 I really enjoy your videos 👍🏻
I'm interested in buying the Spain gold toro.
It's back and safe in its capsule. Thanks God.
I took heed of prevailing warnings.
Thank you for the video
(Or not recommending them)
Waiting to release a video of some gold I sent off to one of my vaults. (They received the package, just waiting on them to show it in my segregated account)
🤜🤛
Maybe it’s just me but there is always so much more too intake from your videos, thanks for leading the way.
And if I could ask you a question? As someone with your means how do you feel about those Really big coins? I think they are 12oz maybe.
The 10 oz and 1 kilogram coins have a different (smaller) set of buyers so I’ve avoided them so far. Cheers!
🤜🤛
Buy them in not Canada
@@InappropriateShorts then you get taxed moving the coins into Canada
@@TheQuickSilver101 you’re allowed to cross borders with cash. As long as they’re dollar denominated I think you’re good.
You are the King 🤴
Ha!
The mint packaging on the 2009 UHR Saint is the finest I've ever seen from them. I can see obtaining more than 1. ❤ 🐥
Agreed - it’s very nice!
Totally agree ! Was very impressed when I saw one at a show.
1 ounce gold King Charles Brittania or 1ounce gold RCM bar?
Britannia.
If you have Gold, food, medical, silver, guns, ammo, fire, and a breath...you'll survive...👀
Well that is if you have skillz😂
Nunchuck skills, bow hunting skills, computer hacking skills… I’m set! 😄
Hello 👋👋
Excellent video.
Gorgeous Stacking 😀
Thanks Arafat! 👋
I carry my gold on me lol some call me crazy but i also carry my pew pew. Ive been robbed in the past where they took the entire safe and I'd rather keep my gold on me now
I do not know. That slab is bothersome. I think I have to rethink my life now. Where oh where did I go wrong?! I have strayed from the path. ;)
Ha!
Buying silver lately. Boring. But I need some balance.
Great Video...wonderful stack
Thanks!
There was a MS70 2009 high relief available at a recent Canadian Coin Show offered for CDN$5000. Lovely coins but no thanks. I do want one, but...
Wow! Not even PL or cameo?
@@2is1gold No. I have purchased so many beautiful proof coins at no more than spot + 2% and have done very well. BTW, Eagles in Canada are not popular, mostly due to tax and 22K. Buffaloes are better, no tax but premiums are nuts. Best are maples, Britannias, and Perth kangaroos. all 9999 and low premiums. Eagles and Buffaloes fetch no more when sold back.
Sweet pic, Thanks.
🤜🤛
How much do the Gold Lunar High Relief coins go for when t they are first released? I see APMEX has the Rabbit for like $2800, wasn’t sure if that was crazy or around what they go for when first released
They started at $2,350.
Man that’s nice.
The lunars are the death of my bank account dam you Perth mint
Ha!
A $100k plus video…like the Liberties and HR Lunars as well.

I’m missing the Perth Mint Ox and Mouse lunar years 😢. 2 is 1, if you’re thinking about selling them, I’ll offer you $200 or $250 over spot for each of them. 😂 I want to collect all 12 of them 🙏
Thank you Sir, All Sleeping, 2 back 1 forward! A Gift from the sky,,, Buy Buy Buy physical, Any fiat left Repeat, They cant print Silver /Gold
They can print gold and silver futures contracts....

@@2is1gold Good weekend Sir, Family /Freinds 👍
I'm actually about to buy my first pre 33 double eagle... want to build a tube of 20 .. 10 st. gaudens and 10 liberty heads... would you buy AU or BU ?
Thats an impressive stack i really enjoy my half ounce gold coins maples and eagles im not a big numismatic guy but i have some numismatics in silver
For me, I could only do Buffaloe’s, fractional Eagles and pre-33s. I could not do high premium (non pre33) coins or low premium exotic coins. I worry about two things: excessive payment of premium and difficulty of sale of exotics
What a stack 🔥🔥
It's funny sometimes what people you have known for a long time reveal. He has known that I have stacked for a long time. He pulled out a big Crown Royal bag and dumped out 99 pre 1933 20 dollar gold St Gaudens. The only thing that held me in my seat was that tall stiff drink
Wow!
Awesome
Nervous about selling my Phils. Bought them 1st because of low premiums.
Everyone knows Philharmonics. Should be easy to move.
Nice stack. I look at my stack and tell myself that if bought Microsoft 10 years ago instead of gold I’d be 10 times richer 🤷🏽♂️
I bought MSFT and TSLA and AMZN and AAPL 10, 15, 20 years ago too. I think of gold as a backup account that allows me to get in on some IPOs and general investments. I try not to have it be an either / or situation. Cheers!
Agreed! I like your videos and your stack 😃
