1. Inside, in the waist area, the original Wrangler jeans have a cream label with Wrangler 1947 and a smaller blue on which Texas is written. On the outside, sewn on the pocket is a piece of leather on which Wrangler is written. Also in the waist area, the original Wrangler jeans have a cardboard cream label with information such as: size, type of jeans, bar code, product code.
2. All the metal elements (staples, buttons) of the original jeans must be engraved with Wrangler.
3. On the inside of the original jeans are three white sewn labels. On them we find: the Wrangler logo, the material they are made of, washing instructions, size, country of origin, product code.

It could be the innovation in denim, color, technique of manufacture, fit, the type of accessories used, etc. No matter what the differences, the thing which is common to all is that they are originally produced by the brands whose labels they carry.
Replica jeans are jeans which are copies of the original products. They might be indistinguishable from the original jeans and almost look exactly like the original, but still they are copies. The replica jeans are replicas because the fabric used is not of the same quality, though it might look the same color and feel the same at a glance. It does not have the same quality accessories, the workmanship is not perfect like the originals, and they most definitely do not add up to the cost of the original. You can do a quick test with a cigarette.
Genuine Wrangler denim and leather patches do not damage when used to stub a cigarette out.
We did the test back in my college days, but needless to say, we could not take our jeans off.

One of my friends wore the Wrangler premium cowboy jeans when we burnt the stubble after the harvest, but I mostly wear vintage 501's when I am doing any hot work.
I think that my friend wore his Wranglers, just so that he could snuff any embers that landed on them against the leather jeans that I was wearing that day. LOL.

Hey. I just got a pair of wrangler jeans (and a pair of wrangler gray corduroy) at a thrift shop and would LOVE you to look at them.
I've had loads of Wranglers over the years all bought from original retailers. They had different buttons to each other, different stitching, different labels and tags. This video simply show 1 pair of originals. Please do not use this as a buying guide.
Could not agree more, all these people obsessed with things being "real or fake" but in reality its just different lines and inconsistent manufacturing practices.

What about Walmart Wranglers vs Wranglers from like Boot Barn? I noticed that the Wranglers I buy from Walmart are around $20, while the ones at Boot Barn are $50.
The price of Wrnaglers (and other jeans too) varies dpending on the model, quality and production season. The price is a good, but not the best, indicator for authenticity. There's a chance that even 20$ Wrangler jeans are genuine if tags, stitching, material, labels etc comply with what is explained in the video.
Those $20 Wranglers at Walmart will last you forever. But they just don't fit nicely on the legs. They're just saggy and baggy everywhere and are meant for work (that's why they're tough, but ugly). You can easily find better fitting jeans around $50 (from Wrangler as well, but other brands too).

wait cause mines look exactly like original ones they even have this big tag on the back pocket thats a photo and has some descriptions like the name of the brand in big letters and some others such "spirit of america" or "authentic design", but it doesnt even have the main back label i think i got scammed lmao (sorry for the bad english, its not my first language)

@@VoiceOfPeopleToday i actually do, it came with another tag that states it authenticity by looking at the zipper, but the image of the zipper in the tag and the actual zipper look nothing alike, not only in the shape but the ome on the jean has not "Wrangler" scripted instead it says "DePe" ??, i'm really confused, do you think it's a fake pair?

They are usually sold in black markets. Prestigious stores usually don't sell fakes.

Why would anyone wanna fake ill fitting, low quality Mexican pants? The fakes probably fit better. Wrangler pants are known as sausage stranglers if you have anything more than a tiny "package".
