I am a truck driver in I am here in Birmingham Alabama. You know what They got some pretty good soul food restaurants around here. I was a surprised to see how many soul food restaurants they have in just a small area it's crazy but the food is so good. You should definitely give Birmingham Alabama a try.

I prefer home cook meals even though a lot of soul food restaurants could be considered fast food but it's a lot of home cook options. And I travel throughout the Southern East Coast all the time. And I stopped in a lot of the major cities and not a lot of soul food restaurants taste southern. Like I stopped in like one or two cities in Mississippi Jackson and I forgot the other place. The soul food restaurants around town was horrible. I stopped in a few places in Atlanta they were okay. A lot of great places in South Carolina also with great soul food restaurants. But I'm surprised that Birmingham has as many as they have here. And all of their restaurants are bangers I done been to about maybe five different restaurants. They have their own unique taste but they're soul food restaurants is top tier compared to a lot of other places.
It's not about the menu it's all about the execution in the kitchen. That takes superb consistency by the chef, cooks, and owner. Everybody is literally serving the same food. It's all about execution
For the good shit hit the Eastern shore of MD. And word to the wise be mindful of the car reviews in the city youngins will try you. Be safe love the content bro
