I was building up the courage to watch this for several minutes because I was sure it would upset me but, I was pleasantly surprised by the majority of them just plain not caring.

And yes, people born in the olden days are raised to think homosexuality is a sin, something to be ashamed of and nasty.
But in reality, it isn’t bad. To some people it is, even people now, my generation, your generation.
Are homophobic because of the way they were raised (usually). But people really need to be open minded about things like this no matter what kind of family they were raised in.
I just came out as bisexual, and I haven’t told my parents or my gram. My gram and mom said they will accept me no matter what.
But it’s still really nerve racking to come out even if someone will accept you. I will not come out to my dad Bc I don’t know what he thinks about LGBTQ+ because I don’t talk or see him.
I’m scared to come out to EVERYONE in my family, because again. It’s really scary coming out. Like right now, I’m scared to be writing this. But like I said, people are open minded about this stuff and that’s really good.
Especially for people apart of LGBTQ+. I’m scared to come out and get backlash for it, but you should be ready to come out and not be forced to do something you don’t want to do.
I’m scared for people to find out that I’m Bi, but if it means that I’ll get to be myself. Than, let me do it! But it’s scary like I said.

A lot of people in Korea are actually extremely homophobic and close minded so either the people in this video got a bit lucky or some people were hiding there true feelings since they were on camera and also probably just didn’t want confrontation in general. Korea just has a huge problem with homosexuality and diversity. Them and Japan are the two least diverse Asian countries and Korea is just....idk sucky when it comes to being accepting towards something different which Is why a lot of them are racist (even unknowningly) and (again) homophobic. They have this sorta mindset that pale and white is best and beautiful and black is obviously dirty (more so to the older generation tho) which is why tanner Koreans often get endlessly bullied for there complexion. Idk where I’m going with this. Maybe just that Korea has a lot of issues that they need to figure out because this is just not ok

I think homesexuality is often over sexualised. Especially in media from the UK and USA. If more homosexual couples are seen living their lives like any other it may help with normalising it within the more conservative communities. I hope more couples will feel comfortable showing their affection more freely.

Not an easy thing in the world to do but you made it fun and the reactions were positive.
It doesn't mean that all the barriers have come down and some people in Korea have a really hard time, particularly with their families.
Each time someone does something like this it gives a bit more courage to someone coming to terms with their sexuality. And hopefully it helps to change a few people's minds. Having some prominent people (politicians, film and tv stars, even business people) come out will also help.
