    Grew up old time carpenter brat and start playing with tools very young. They were and are my toys. Grew up playing with those tools, building stilts, and go-carts and club houses. You learn make do engineering . Now Ive got to build one. Thanks for the video

    In case anyone in the UK is thinking of making or acquiring one - under British law relating to offensive weapons it would be illegal to possess it. Over here, self-defence is not a good reason for carrying anything that could or might be used to cause injury.

      @boinecastillo7455 funny thing.... I carry a meter long, 2.5 cm (3 foot long, 1 inch diameter) walking stick. A regular ball-shaped knob. Nothing fancy.
      I have been stopped by police, who inspected it carefully, absolutely SURE there was a concealed blade in it. Prats. Humans fought with sticks long before they invented knives.
      Nobody will make it illegal to carry a short walking stick.

    • @5c0u53
      @5c0u53 Місяць тому

      True although its ok to carry your air rifle ( live semi rural, see young lads all the time, never stopped by police) even bows, HOWEVER like i said im literally on the edge of the Yorkshire moors (extremely low crime area) , In a busy town/city you'd definitely be stopped and rightly so.

    Drilling precision 90 degree holes without drill press?

    • @5c0u53
      @5c0u53 Місяць тому

      Doesnt need to be 'that precise'. The arrow is quite loose in the 'barrel' with the barrel only acting as a rough guide, look at a manufactured one ( a catapult with a whisker biscuit) the biscuit serves only to steady/roughly centre the long arrows shaft.

    Very Creative and resourceful , ideas like this could be of great use when things go all to hell soon. Once a CBDC takes over, or a civil war from all the illegal immigration, it could wind up every man for himself. Hopefully you will never need this kind of thing, but I highly doubt it.

  • @Palcious
    @Palcious 2 місяці тому +8

    You oughta be some special kind of gullible, if you really believe this manufacturing process😂
    What you didn't see was the use of a lathe and a drill press. It is simply undoable to drill three holes perfectly parallel and concentric by hand over that length. And that kind of cylindrical shape cannot be achieved like shown.

    Great craftsmanship and it might save your life one day, but to use as self defence against another human being might put you in a bad position trying to disprove intent. Unless you live somewhere where you are are allowed to carry an AR15 or where gun massacres are familiar.
