I'm with Ken Hill on this one. If the objective is improvement you need report cards and a good data logger is the ultimate report card. Specifically a data logger though not just a lap timer.

Hi Bill, tyre warmers are awesome. Its not just for getting on track on pace its to minimise the heat cycles of the tyre so they last alot longer before they go off 😉
I love my tyre warmers. I set the temp to 80c so the whole day works out at 1 temperature cycle 👍

"A" group!! What what! Haha great riding man, I am a pirelli sc v3 guy all my vehicles run Pirelli. I agree with the timer, it almost takes the joy out of your normal track day, which isn't a race and there are no prizes!!! But still good to know your times to see if you're progressing.
