For those looking to replicate this, rememver cement contains substances that affects the pH of the water, making it less than ideal for most fish. I would use something like say Mapecoat DV Epoxy on the walls on the inside.
cement is very toxic to most fish. we used to fill the newly build cement tank with water and keep it couple of weeks empty before adding the fish. make sure you remove the water and refill it before adding fish..
