Either you are talking about that 2.3L ecoboost base variant which we get for that price or a used 4 year old GT V8.
There's no way we could get that almost $60K V8 in $20K Canadian.

This car is jst amazing... But recently got to hear that it scored 2/5 in ncap test.. That's a bit disappointing
Abhishek Singh nope! actually the Mustang scored 4 stars in IIHS crash test but in this one due to lack of certain electronic nannies it scored 2 stars. it lacks pedestrian safety and which the global ncap values the most. this is the exact reason why it has scored 2 stars. this 2 stars is really misleading!
deepanshu kelkar Completely wrong. It failed catastrophically in the small overlap crash test. That's why it scored 2 stars. Research would of helped you here...

Daniels30 in IIHS crash test its small overlap crash test rating was acceptable!!. apart from that it scored good ratings in roof strength,side crash test, frontal crash test!!. and as far as the small overlap rating is concerned , i am sure that they must have improved it in the new mustang which is going to be launched in the third quarter of the 2017!
Abhi shek The overall Euro NCAP rating is based on four pillars, with a very strong focus on family car and SUV safety characteristics and specific safety assist features, usually not part of the standard equipment of cars in the Mustang category. 8 airbags, 2 knee airbags, safety belt pre-tensioners, crash sensors... I guess thats enough for saving lives! unless someone intends to drive like an idiot and crash it real bad

Yes my 5 friends outside India studying in Dubai and Canada brought it for 20L I think they support common people not like rich in India I feel awkward

It's a decent car, value for money in the US $35k V8 brand new. I am not sure if its INR 80 lakh worth it.

In their defense it's mostly because of 2 wheelers, they don't go in 2 wheeler lane, and everytime truck crosses a 2 wheeler he has to haul ass from left to right across speeding cars.. so they prefer left lane...
I love mustang because of its engine I know it is overpriced if you compare with other foreign cost I think camero is better for people looking for new generation engine and design. This car is for people who like old design and engines like me.

In my view, mid size sedans (ciaz, corolla, impala) is best category car. I don't understand why 2 seater cars like mustang are produced? What is the utility aspect of such cars?
Technically Mustang is a four seater, the cars you mentioned belong to a complete different category (with different audience)and this diversity in auto culture is something to embrace, otherwise we'll all be fairing in bland autonomous Google pods😂

why can't our c segment sedans come with this styling? or say with such design language? Obviously they will be impractical and less on power but I will happily buy one, one good example was the HM contessa, that car should have survived and evolved with time.
