In August 2019 I began my cane training. I had the initial thought of, “I’m not blind enough for a white cane”. As a blind person trying to come to terms with his disability, little did I know how much it would be the start of another chapter in my life. - Фільми й анімація
Great Video Juan, Awesome Making it into a short . Great way to get more awareness and views. I did mobility training a long time ago, it does help . I could not wrap my brain around braille. I only have English, and i still have a hard time with spelling and grammar after 51 years, haha . At this point my RP has left me , no sight in left eye . The right eye is a blurry pin hole. I take my Hat off, with Respect to you, and all the visually impaired people , that have adapted to life . I am still trying, I think.
Thank you. I don’t blame you about the braille. It can be a challenge to learn when you’re an adult. It took me a while to finally get it. To be honest, I think we’re all still learning. I’m learning things from other blind people when they post as well. There’s so many blind life hacks that I have yet to run into.
I needed to hear this, thank you 💜
Thank you, and embracing the cane can be a major hurdle. It was for me, and likely for most other blind people.
💯❤
🥰😍🤩
Hi Juan, have you been legally blind for 5 years and using your white cane for 5 years?I am legally blind with limited vision since I was 3 years old and I am now 58 years,I started using a white cane since the age of 19 and I have a lot of o&m instruction with a specialist over the years when moving to a new area whenever I have to rent a house with my mom and family.
The cnib staff and o&m specialist and I am independent with some help when I need it or ask for help, due to me being short statured.I use my cnib card on the buses and lrt train to get around my country and city.
