The fringerprint reader to unlock the tab extreme is efficient and useful. That 12000 mAh battery definitely deserve fast charging such it 68 watts charger. Adding it as a third screen through usb-c is very efficient and super convenient.
With my 2nd child on the way I think i'll upgrade from my P12 Pro to this purely for the ability to plug my desktop into it via DP in any room for a mobile gaming experience while the wee one kips!

Obviously, w/o any case, it charges via one of the USB-C ports, but how does it charge w/ a Lenovo case? (the iPad Pro 12.9 w/ Magic Keyboard Case has the option to charge via the case magnetic connector, meaning you can charge the iPad by merely placing it onto the case - very important for those of us concerned about wearing out a USB-C port everyday just to charge)

The s8 ultra is a 14.6 inch like this one. Also, the base price of the s8 ultra has always been about $1000 ($1099) it just depends on the amount of RAM and base storage you want. It goes up the more RAM and base storage you want. The storage doesn't matter because you have an expandable memory card but it is nice to have the extra RAM

Tablets are great, the problem is that Lenovo only want you to do things their way. That means the navigation buttons are reversed. It means that auto rotate doesn't work unless you find a third party app. It means that it's very hard to find the settings. It constantly feels like you are using somebody else's tablet that you cannot customize.
Lenovo has been killing it in the Android tablet space for a while now. Especially in the design category. But honestly a tablet this big seems like a little too much. Samsung tried the same sorta idea a while back and it failed. Still a cool product though.

If you've had an touchscreen laptop you don't get surprised about the 14.5 inch screen in terms of productivity but of course you'll notice it when used as a tablet when consuming media
I have a Lenovo Yoga Tab with the built in folding stand, it also has terrible touch sensitivity taking sometimes three pokes. Other than that annoying factor it's a good tablet.
I got my dad the old yoga tab
He loved that so much he actually asked me to buy him the newer version
He never asks for anything 😂
Lenovo do make great product.
This whole package for $1,000 or a Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra with Keyboard cover for $1600....... easy choice
It took about 2 weeks to get used to the size of my 14.6in Galaxy tab ultra tablet. It the first couple days😮, i kept thinking that its huge and maybe i should have gone with the 12.6in tablet. Now, im used to it and glad i didn't go for the smaller size. Screen size is incredible. 1, 2TB capacity is great too. I have big hands so when flipping the tablet vertically, i can type with my thumbs like you would a smartphone.
You can use button mapper or key mapper which I think key mapper has a contraint for when you map abutton you can choose if it will work in Landscape or tablet mode
Samsung with tablets on Android is in the top 1, and Lenovo is different with updates, promise 3 or 4 years of update, and ends at 1 or 2 and then they have you somewhere
I've got a Lenovo Duet 5 13.3" OLED at $341 on sale in my local store. great buy!
unfortunately for me, thats a chromebook
I prefer the Tab S9 Ultra but damn that Keyboard Cover is the Best I've seen on a Tablet.
Its good that they have added that Stylus cover, that Samsung used to have.
looks interesting, shame the tab extreme is extremely....difficult to actually buy from anywhere! Almost like they dont wanna sell it!
AliExpress has it
How much is it?
@@qwerty19811 in the UK*
@@knightshiningarmour 900/999 as far as I know
Wooo that's expensive. Laptop/notebook for me, keyboard included lol
So, which table is better? The galaxy tab S9 or the lenovo tab extreme?
This is what is called INNOVATION.
Nice but with that OLED will be crazy expensive and while the MT9000 is good I would expect a Snapdragon Gen 1 for that price.
The Dimensity 9000 actually performs faster than the snapdragon gen 1.
@@AdrianMurray not in GPU
@@corsinivideos There is a tiny difference which pro users wont be noticing that and for u it would be more than enough
@@pradeep92917 I was thinking more for emulation and gaming. SD gen 1 would see some noticeable advantages.
The 8 gen is probably the worst processer made by Snapdragon
What's the use of having higher numbers when it can't maintain an average performance of gaming as compared to the d9000
I had a lenovo tab before. NEVER got an OS update. good luck.
I Don't Really Need Os Update!!! It's always the Same with Little Change of Os Design & Concept!!! It's Just a Marketing 👌🏻😏👌🏻
This tablet really is huge!
Im glad it has the actual Android 13 update. My P12 Pro still hasnt gotten the update to Android 13 and Im getting more and more upset at Lenovo for the year plus wait for Android 13.
Same here, the Android 13 update for my P11 Pro Gen 2 has been delayed twice. It is still also on the March security update.
seriously, I would settle for Android 12L at this point.... LENOVO sucks with updates
@@jesusbarrera6916 What model do you have?
Past android users chenges online classes vlogging TikTok tablet 😮
Looks like the Samsung galaxy Tab S8 ultra. Samsung be inspiring upcoming tech companies both in foldables and tablets
Can u do a comparison with samy s9 ultra? Awesome review. Thanks bro
Did I missed the specs? Cpu, ram, ports etc?
Chris nice tablet and review, but you didn't mention the aspect ratio, nor the specs, i.e., the ram and processor!
the biggest problem with this product is that it's never in stock 💀
Facts
Kind of reminds me of the Samsung Galaxy View 18.4" tablet.
😮That's a beast! Seriously, are you watching Apple an Samsung??
Rather than a tablet, it looks more like a laptop with the keyboard removed, such a huge display
Exactly my thoughts. It a keyboardless laptop.
I Love Giant Tablet!!! Bigger is Better for Me!!! 👍🏻😁👍🏻
That's really a # Beast # in a Flagship category!!
If you use this beast as a work tablet with all the fieldservice apps now a days you would really want to have a nice cam on the back................
WOW 😲 it is huge! The multitasking mode to use multiple apps is seriously awesome 😎. The sound from the speakers is superfluous! The fringerprint reader to unlock the tab extreme is efficient and useful. That 12000 mAh battery definitely deserve fast charging such it 68 watts charger. Adding it as a third screen through usb-c is very efficient and super convenient.
Yeah, but he said it slows down with that multitasking so I’m sure the processor is not a very powerful one, don’t be fooled
I like it
I prefer a multi-purpose tablet than entertainment
Can I connect an external Screen or Monitor by using type C to HDMI connector?????
Only usb c to usb c... unfortunately
Can we use it as a secondary monitor like samsung?
I like your tablet wallpaper very much. Can u pls provide the link?
It's a wonder they aren't releasing this with Android 12L.
It really isn't. Lenovo's software team is clueless. I've never seen a company that cares so little about the lifespan of their products.
another oled screen using pwm to adjust brightness which may cause headaches etc?
I had a machine that flipped the volume depending on the orientation and hated it!
Completely confusing
With my 2nd child on the way I think i'll upgrade from my P12 Pro to this purely for the ability to plug my desktop into it via DP in any room for a mobile gaming experience while the wee one kips!
How is the sound ; both volume and quality ? This is important to me. It may determine whether I pick up one of these bad boys /
Where is the price And The SOC? And there was no unboxing and showing the charger.
I've already got a Lenovo Tab Extreme, it's called a Thinkpad X1 Extreme (4K touchscreen) :muscle:
Can you hook up a Ps5 or Steam deck?
Price point is key on this. Can't find a price to quote though, so it's another what's its face gadget, tablet computer you'll probably never own or ever see in the wilds
Don't let that 3 years os updates fool you. You will be waiting a year + longer than other devicss. Lenovo is horrible for updates being even remotely on time. Also you didn't even mention the processor it uses or performance wtf
Hopefully they keep their word on updates.Alot of Android tablets get canned pretty quick due to low sales.
I don't believe they will. They've delayed the Android 13 update twice and are still on the March security update.

How much does it Cost and where do you buy it
Do you have to buy it from the manufacturer Lenovo

Hey Chris, how about you leave a list of shows and movies you're viewing In the video descriptions?
seems like a really good tablet i mean s8 ultra came out first at 14.5 and the specs are still better than this it all comes down to price at this point seen the s8 ultra at 1k same price as this tablet
May I use it as a second screen with my MacBook Air 15 inches with wired connection? I dont want to buy an ipad pro because it is too expensive.
Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is 14.6 is pretty nice.
And then the Samsung galaxy tab 9 ultra enters the chat...........
Thanks Mate!
looks like a good display. is it a color-accurate display? How long will it take Lightroom to import and export raw images? if it's powerful enough, I might get one. looks promising with a big display.
I remember Leonidas saying "Android... well thats a bit of a problem..."
Hey, blind folks need tablets too!!!
What the hell are you talking about? Samsung did the galaxy tab s8 Ultra which is the same size as this tablet at it done very well. It was actually sold out for a while. It done so well that they are releasing tab s9 ultra this year. I also thought the samsung ultra tablet would have been too big but after buying it I am so glad I got the bigger one over the smaller ones as this size is perfect for consuming media. It became my over all work device rather than just a tablet. Please don't speak on things when you don't fully know what you're talking about. In no way shape or form did the 14.6 inch tablets fail. It did well. Why do you think Lenovo decided to release their own?
@@RKingisHe doesn't know what the heck he is talking about. Samsung released the tab s8 Ultra and it sold so well it was intitually sold out for a while, now they are releasing a s9 ultra this year. There is a reason why this company is following samsungs lead and releasing their own 14.6 inch tablet as well. It is actually not to big. It is a great size for media consumption. So glad I got the galaxy tab ultra rather than the smaller tabs they offer.
Seams a lil slow but can be mistaken , i have the samsung tab s8 ultra it screen size is 14.6 has 512 gb of storage love it , but the lenova looks good
Where to find that wallpaper
No Google Feed? 👎 I love your choice of entertainment, Secret Invasion is 👍Wow its the best of Samsung and Apple!
How often can you say Lenovo Tab Extreme in a Row? YES! 🤣
Please mate for future reviews try not to have a black wallpaper so we can clearly see the screen edges
pretty cool im one of the few people who wish it were bigger say 16" i don't use laptop less than 17" and my last tablet form factor device was the 18" screen Dell XPS 18
hope they use 8 gen 3 near future
Samsung’s presentation is right around the corner! It would be interesting to see what the rumored s9 offers!
18inch 12k tablet 😅
Greetings Chris🇨🇦❤🇨🇦❤ which one would you prefer among the two behemoth tablets, Galaxy tab s9 ultra or Lenovo tab extreme??
With Lenovo tablets you are lucky if you get more than one OS update
The Ipad I think reverses the volume buttons and I hate that, I have the Tab S8 and I'm fine with the volume buttons but it starts getting messy for me when I start using my son's Ipad because it reverses the volume buttons.
Where is it available and what is price? Another tablet is the last thing I need and I suck at multitasking (except for taking photos with a tablet in each hand like lower than scum Yosemite Sam). But I want to look at 4 things at once in a 14.3(?)" screen while retaining approximately none of that information. Please help.
Don't forget that the galaxy S8 ultra still remain king at 14"6 inch but unlike the Lenovo it's maximum brightness is 300nits
Its 420 nits
I don't Buy Samsung Ultra Tablet Because of this Bad notch!!! I Bought this Lenovo Ultra Tablet & Absolutely Feel Satisfying!!! ✌🏻😍✌🏻
