I can’t believe how you can balance your ceramics business and your UA-cam channel! Either one is impressive enough on their own. But your videos are very interesting and informative, whilst still being calm and chilled-out.
You have no idea what a massive resource you have been for me as a begging self taught potter. Everything's explained so extensively and clearly. Really love your content man keep up the good work 🤙
This is definitely another case of that magical moment in which UA-cam recommends me something I'd never in a million years actively search for, but now that I'm here, I'm hooked. Not only are you (at least from the perspective of a complete outsider to the craft) great at pottery, but you've got a great knack for making content out of it, too!
I love trimming, it is my favorite part of the throwing process. It gives me the opportunity to give each form a bit of personality and allows me one last moment with my work before I move on to the finishing stages. Love your work sir. Thank you for sharing.
You're so precise and even with your trimming that one day you really should try to glaze and finish a pot with just the initial trimming spiral (and the rim and the base of course)
not for me, even after serveral years of part time throwing, this is an amazing watch that I am happy just to look at. Its also the first time I've seen a throwing stick being used, so its a win win for me. I love watching and listening to your videos, your voice is just right, explaining every move, almost letting myself think I could do that. But I will let the expert show me, that's you, I will just watch and enjoy. thanks for sharing.
I’m glad I found you, Florian and your video on the tall thin vessel was perfect in addressing all the grey areas in my return to pottery. I relate to your technique and thank you so much☺️
Such a beautiful collection of vessels! The form really reminds me of a more refined version of Edmund De Waal's signature style. A joy to watch, thank you so much for sharing your process with us aspirational potters!
Thank you for this video ! I learned two really useful tricks (I learned a lot more than that with your video ;-) ) that I will keep in mind next time I am trying a narrow cylinder !
Great, would you mention the dimensions of the vases? I think it would be really useful knowing relation between clay's weight and the dimensions. Thanks a lot in advance 😊
How do you get the clay out of the inside of the pot that falls in when you’re trimming I have clay stuck to the inside of my small cylinder and it’s not coming out and I cannot get my hands in there.

i can’t believe how high you manage to make such a small lump of clay, very impressive
Very delicate. They will make great for Gladiolas or Irises.
Wow this was actually perfect timing! 1am in Australia and was just looking for something chill to watch before sleep. Thanks Florian 💜
Hooray! I hope this does the job 💤

I should probably get around to doing that, with a nice, runny glaze, it could look nice! Thanks for watching 🙌🏼

I'm impressed with the beautiful finish on these vases. Thanks for your clear narration and chill attitude. Cheers!
Going to be honest… Both the AMSR videos and the narrative videos… They seem the same to
me your voice is soothing ❤️

Very informative.
Brilliant explanation thank you
Love that cracked glaze.
Seeing the pot bulge around your knuckles was intriguing. I would expect it to buckle and break being treated like that but it didn't. P.s hey 👋
perfect job 🏆
This is a pretty good video!
20 cm & straight sides for 400 gr of clay… what an achievement ! 👍 I wonder how many cylinders you throw before such a perfection ?
Can you please recommend what I should buy to make a wedging table like yours? What kind of wood is it? Thank you!
Great, would you mention the dimensions of the vases? I think it would be really useful knowing relation between clay's weight and the dimensions. Thanks a lot in advance 😊
I believe the tallest was about 23 cm tall, but they range from about 20 - 23 cm
did you make your throwing stick or did you buy it? i’ve never seen one before
I’ve bought and made them, very useful, simple tools!
How do you get the clay out of the inside of the pot that falls in when you’re trimming I have clay stuck to the inside of my small cylinder and it’s not coming out and I cannot get my hands in there.
I am totally new. Can you please make a video what do I need and how can I start, tools n so on. TIA
❤
❤️🙂
Masa allah😊
Have you ever absentmindedly forgotten to stop the wheel before applying your maker's mark?
Never!
When can I do so well?
Would you change something major regarding your set-up if you could?
Bigger studio that I actually owned instead of renting, that way I could really invest into making the space my ‘own’.
👍👍👍👍👍🤩
فيديو رائع
can you make a plumbus
I'm impressed with the beautiful finish on these vases. Thanks for your clear narration and chill attitude. Cheers!
