Charles, I've been a bass player for 20some years,not much of a tapper,or double thumber none of that fancy stuff,more a solid rythmic player.YOU MY friend are in my top 5 favorite bass players,(sorry Cliff,Rob,and Geezer got some years on you,and Davie introduced you to me ) I'm still rattling in my head how you put an album out in 1984, but that's not a big deal,you have SO much power in your fingers and an understanding for music that enables you to translate your emotions on a bass,if in a thousand years your music is what was found by future civilizations,I'd be ok with knowing it was you the respresented what a bass player from my day was,ONE DAY YOU WILL BE COMPARED TO THE LIKES OF BEETHOVEN

what strings are you using. im trying to learn this and i feel that my strings get to tight when trying to get to your tuning. i feel that my bass strings could break.

I'm a thrash metal guitarist (Iron Maiden initial inspired then discovered Megadeth) but I started out on bass, (inspired by Billy Sheehan, Geddy Lee, Steve Harris and JPJ) and I don't think I am overstretching to say you are even more technical than Billy and MUCH more melodic. I can't believe you're not a famous superstar because you, without a doubt, have the talent to be. You make me wish I kept playing bass too. You're THAT inspiring and so modest too.
