    Not to mention,
In October 1962, during the Sino-Indian War, the PM Lal Bahadur Shastri visited Hyderabad and requested the Nizam to contribute to the National Defence Fund, set up in the wake of the Indo-Chinese skirmishes. In response, the Nizam donated 5,000 Kilos of gold to the Indian army.😊

He was actually one of the best rulers in 20th century india.
Primary education was made compulsory and provided free for the poor.During his 37-year rule, electricity was introduced, and railways, roads, and airports were developed. He was known as the "Architect of modern Hyderabad". He was first to provide agricultural education in whole India. India's first airport was built by him. He donated 5000 KG gold to Indian army during 1962 war
Osmania University (oldest in his kingdom and 3rd oldest in South India, 31th largest in world), Osmania General Hospital, State Bank of Hyderabad, Begumpet Airport, and the Hyderabad High Court, Osman Sagar and Himayat Sagar were all made by him.
He also donated 14,000 acres of land from his estate to Vinobha Bhave's Bhoodan movement for re-distribution among landless farmers.

Local governments used farmers lands and made them tenants in the name of tax and made them to work free in there homes.
Whole nizam state has 3 types of land system sarf e khas lands almost whole Hyderabad taxes or of nizams personal use and inam lands and jagirs were given to local governance high taxes were collected
Still average land holdings by ppl in this state are almost low.
Under nizams rule razakars were formed so many people were killed hanged to trees burnt alive and raped so many villages vanished.
Such tragedy we faced in his rule we still study those in our history books
Is that what a glory is of that state ruled by them

Do not compare democracy with olden kingdoms.
In olden times. Someone conquers a land and who one wants to live can migrate in peacefully and soldiers and king would give protection to people. Anyone who wants to leave can leave and live in another land. King needs gold and loyal army for his own survivals against invaders and upraisals.
Now india is a democracy. Where the land is run by people. But unfortunately is defunt unlike western democracy. Unless people are educated or tought about democracy at school.

      3. *Divide and rule*: The Mughals exploited India's social and religious divisions, creating tensions between Hindus and Muslims, and weakening India's unity.
      4. *Cultural suppression*: The Mughals imposed Persian and Islamic culture, suppressing Indian traditions and languages, like Sanskrit and Hindi.
      5. *Political instability*: The Mughal Empire's decline led to political instability, fragmentation, and wars, which weakened India's defenses and paved the way for colonial rule.

@@Shreyash1156 1. Divide and rule was first introduced by British. As they wanted to gain control over whole Indian subcontinent and at that time, apart from Mughal, Indian subcontinent was divided into many small local Empires, and they need to lick boots of local kings to defeat the bigger king.
      2. You have problem with Persian culture without even knowing Persian culture is very much similar to Indian culture because of their geographical locations and at that time both were sharing same border cuz Persia was just beside India and possibly many ethnic and linguistic mixing were happened before Mughal arrival, But on the other hand you're happily accepting thousands of miles away British/Western culture, copying their lifestyle, their attire, their cuisine and most important, their English language (in which you typed your comments) shows that though British left us physically, but we are still high with their colonial hangover in our minds yet.
      3. There are Plenty of Mughal Kings apart from Aurangzeb, not all Mughal Kings were Aurangzeb. People of India witnessed many secular Mughal Kings. Mughal emperor Akbar and Shah Alam were few of them. And accept Aurangzeb, most of the Mughal Kings were neutral. (I said most of them, not all of them)
      4. Also, many great monuments were built during the Mughal era, the prime example is Taj Mahal, Diwan-e-aam, Diwaan-e-khaas, Sheeth Mahal and Great Red Fort, which is still used to held national ceremonies in modern India.
