- Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd held a press conference Monday to provide more details on a deputy-involved shooting over the weekend. A man who claimed to be a "sovereign citizen" opened fire on the deputies, who returned fire, killing him, officials said. Both deputies were shot - one in the arm and another in the chest. Both remain hospitalized.

The Polk Sheriff FB page has the comments section turned off. Funny the tough talking Sheriff cant stand to be criticized or held accountable.
