Those exact same water crystals can be found in diapers too. :) If you don't have a bag of water crystals available for whatever reason, and you urgently need some, get your hands on a (of course unused!!) diaper, cheap brand or not doesn't matter, soak it in a bucket of water for awhile and cut the thing open. Extract the crystals and you're ready to go. :)
I thank you very much. I have two hundred laying adults and had no idea how to seed my colonies. I have four 50 black plastic bins that are not being used so I will start using them for colonies. Very interesting, informative video.
Great video! Very informative! I've subscribed. Just a tip: if you're recording with a cell phone, turn the phone sideways, and the picture will fill the screen and not have the black bars on the sides. Take care.
awesome video very educational and informative. best one I have seen so far on setting up for dubias. I'm sure a bunch of people have already said this, but the video will look better if you turn the phone sideways! other than that, really fantastic and I appreciate you putting this out there!
Awesome video, really informative and helpful! I'm a long time animal guy, but only recently I've gotten into raising Tarantulas and Scorpions, so I've started a Red Runner colony, and will now be starting a Dubia colony, this really helped me a lot! I also raise Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches, but they're pets, they are safe from the claws and fangs 😁 My other pets are my dog, Milo and three Parakeets, Sonny, Gina and Trudy, my Miami Vice family lol I've subscribed to your channel, looking forward to lots of good info.
Thanks for all the info I just recently got a whole colony from some one and it is doing great how ever the person I got it from told me to leave all the frass in the bottem it's alot it covers the whole bottem of the tub do I keep it or get rid of it
The best video I"ve seen so far on breeding Dubias...no extra fluff, just straight to the point- thank you!
