- In this video you will see two motorcycles with a parallel twin cylinder engine. One of them is the most powerful and the other the largest among parallel twin cylinders.
Many thanks to all bikers and motorcycle fans who contributed their videos to our motorcycle channel. If you have a motorcycle at home that you built yourself, or an old, interesting or unusual motorcycle that you would like to show, please send me short videos from your camera or mobile phone to: We Transfer - jawatinomoto@gmail.com
I will process your videos and publish them on our motorcycle UA-cam channel - Jawa Tino
MZ were actually ahead of the game, loads of parallel twins now.
Should have used a 270° crank.
I'll take the w800 as I'm now an older gentleman
I'll take the MZ shes struggling hard to hit 120mph..this might help keep me alive..
I would take a W800 too, ❤ the sound of a 360° crank twin!!
I too am an older gentleman, but I'd love an MZ or a Triumph.....T.B.F. I already have two old triumphs and for that option I'd go for a 1200 thruxton S.E.
I have a Superhawk and I like the engine braking of big twins and low rpm torque.

The terrible sadness about the MZ was that it was envisaged as a much smaller supercharged twin 600cc(?) with the power coming from the supercharging. Superior handling coming from the lack of mass in the engine and the engine being smaller and easier to locate for perfect handling.
MZ thought they saw the writing on the wall with the popularity of V twin one litre bikes and could see a market for a 1,000cc parallel twin with all the other projected 1,000cc parallel twins. That sort of never got made. Norton, having more stillbirths than Shrewsbury and Telford NHS trust.
MZ forgot or ignored the originality of its initial concept.
No notable mention for the Bimota V-due. Yes it was a V not a parallel twin, yes it was a 2-stroke and no it didn't actually work, but it was so close to excellence. Using that almost uniquely British talent of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. If they had spoken to Mitsubishi over direct injection or used a hybrid system that tends to get used for the (not quite) direct injection used for gasoline injection now. Though, valve train cleaning is not an issue for 2-strokes.
The modern engineering of MZ liquid cooled DOHC 125cc bikes resulted in the only genuine 15hp 125cc road legal learner bikes built, and tough engined, high build quality bikes are what they are.

why do triumphs have lesser bhp
What triumphs?
because most of the power is converted to heat energy as losses to the heat exchange radiator before it can be put into powerful kinetic use..
@@retiredbore378 in the 70's when the JPN was racing, peter williams realised quite a bad flaw of para twins, with only 74hp at less than 10k rpm, the crank was bending..
not interesting, its looks like any random newer bikes. the old BMW R11, PMZ and alike are far more interesting.
Nice bike
