We're back with another great pick from my Patreon Community. I didn't know what kind of movie this was going to be, but I was not disappointed.

Frank Abagnale then went on to work for the FBI for 40 years. Abagnale also turned down 3 presidential pardons. “I don’t believe that a piece of paper will excuse my actions. In the end only my actions will”.
And then he was outed as a huge liar. He’s been exposed for some time now. Most if any of his claims are complete BS.
@@lowriveraYes, that did come out not long ago. He denies he’s a liar of course.
@@lowrivera he was outed as exaggerating what he's done and even then the so called proof is pretty shoddy
I love this movie and its crazy Leo was still like 20 something when Tom hanks was in this haven't seen many movies with em together in it
Thanks Stef - great reactions, and don't worry, reactions don't mean you have to jabber away all the time - a wow and a raised eyebrow is all you need for a great reaction vid sometimes! :)
May have already been mentioned......when Frank showed up to his first day with the FBI, one of the agents in the scene was the real Carl Hanratty......and Frank himself has a cameo in the beginning scene with the gameshow (unsure though).
Great reaction.
There is no real Carl Hanratty.
There is "kinda". The real Frank just used a fake name in his book, which the movie is roughly based on, because at the time, the real "Carl H" was still in the FBI and he didn't want to screw up any investigations he was or might have been attached to. But, over all, the real Frank said Tom Hanks was did so well it was like watching the real "Carl H" on screen. @@Fred-vy1hm
Another great reaction Steflike always, This movie its so good its one of my favourites and what a deluxe cast. And some fun-facts about this movie, it took 22 years for the book to be turned into a movie. And Frank Abagnale admits that the story was way exaggerated. Carl Hanratty character is based on several FBI agents who pursued Frank Abagnale, mostly one named Joseph Shea. If it were true-to-life, christopher walken would hardly be in this movie. In real life, Abagnale never saw his father again after he ran away. But Spielberg wanted to have Frank Jr. continue to seek his father's approval, to show up in his Pan Am uniform to impress him and seek advice from him. Jennifer Garner only had to work for one day. Spielberg had seen Jennifer Garner on Alias and thought she was about to become a big star. He was pleased that she was willing to take such a small role in his movie, and she was probably pleased, too: it only required a day of shooting. The film’s score was composed by the legendary John Williams, known for his iconic collaborations with Spielberg. Williams’ music enhances the movie’s suspenseful moments and injects emotion into the heartfelt scenes, creating an unforgettable cinematic experience. Frank Abagnale Jr. appears in a cameo role as a French police officer in the film. I think this adds an intriguing layer of authenticity to the movie, as the audience gets a glimpse of the real-life con artist. Keep up the good work.
Fun fact: I've met Frank Abagnale. He lived in Tulsa, OK at the time (this was 15 or so years ago) and he purchased a couple of vehicles from the dealership I worked at. He's was still a very charming and charismatic guy.
Did he pay with a check?
This is a great movie. I'm glad your patrons picked it.
At the beginning of the video, I think you were trying to say you haven't seen the movie poster either.
those patrons have great taste haha
Poster, its a movie poster.
There's a show with similar premise to the end of this movie called White Collar. Its pretty good show.
I was totally engrossed the first time I watched this movie too; no worries! I love getting lost in this one and have re-watched it many times over the years. There's a fictional TV show from the 1990's called The Pretender about a genius who can become anyone, and it's a lot of fun watching him go from being a doctor one week to a military instructor to a construction worker, etc for various reasons. I think you'd really enjoy that show if you ever decided to react to it. :)
I thought I had a fever dream about that show... so it was real, after all (The Pretender)
LOVED the Pretender, if they keep remaking shows, that is still a brilliant concept that can be really fun with a charismatic lead. But now you've reminded me, time to rewatch it for the 8th time or something soon!
yes, there are a series of James Bond movies
James Bond films are great, you should start at the begining with Dr No (1967) staring Sean Connery as James Bond
THAT WAS HILARIOUS! 😂 So... You said you'd like to start watching Bond, James Bond. Yes? Well I say, GO FOR IT! 😊 There are so many James Bond movies. Some starring Pierce Brosnan. Some starring Sean Connery, Roger Moore, and most recently, Daniel Craig. There are 27 installments. Most are pretty entertaining. You won't be disappointed. Have fun! 😊
My personal finances teacher my senior year let us watch this movie because she was teaching us how to write checks and how to properly fill them out and W2’s and all that amazing movie
Great movie
The cop who takes him in the French town is actually the real Frank Abagnale 38:48
A great mini series you should check out is Band of Brothers created by Tom Hanks and Stephen Spielberg.
Yesss I love this movie, not enough reactors react to it but it's so beautiful. I mean, a young Leo and Amy adams... who wouldn't enjoy it! And Tom Hanks!!
Fun fact: Amy Adams was convinced this movie would be her big break -- then she didn't work for an year and didn't really make it as a major star until she did "Enchanted" some years later.
loved this move. seen it a lot of times. hilarious. liked and subbed.
Your thoughts at the end of the video becomes more an more thorough and insightful. Great job.
This is a brilliant movie, another great film starring Tom Hanks and Leo di Caprio, I would have loved to have had half the confidence when I was young, as what Leo has in this movie.
With Tom Hanks and Leondardo DiCaprio, you can't really go wrong :)
Love your reaction. Really enjoy all your content
Inspired by the true story of Frank Abagnale who did all of these things before he was 19 there is an interview with him on UA-cam
Thanks for this:)
Loved this movie....the acting between tom hanks and leo dicapprio is so very good. You dont always need to talk during a reaction if the movie is this good because your face says a lot most of the time. I hope you wilo put GofT on youtube at some point, i know you are going to love it. ❤ from fla usa
Carson interviewed Frank. It's a good watch
look ALL bonds,its worth it!!
I went to High School & College with Kevin Mitnick, probably one of the most famous computer hackers of all time. After he was caught and served his time, he became a computer security expert. He died a couple of years ago.
Frank. Abagnale gave a good Google Talk not many years ago. It’s worth taking a look at.
There's a great documentary about the guy this is based on too.
another awesome diCaprio film you might like is The Aviator
I love this movie. 🥰 True History!
Great Movie 🧡Enjoy and have a Nice Day❣️
1:03 you cannot words? I also cannot words too 🙃
If you want to watch a James Bond movie, I suggest you start with Goldfinger from the 60s. That's what the clips in Catch Me came from. It was the first really big worldwide Bond hit film.
Great reaction! Love your laid back style and sweet demeanor.
Good job
“ Two mice fell into a bucket of cream…”
Nice toque eh!
Fun fact, the real Frank Abagnale Jr. made a cameo in this very film as one of the French cops.
This might be my favourite movie
Stef has become such a smooth talker, im proud 😢
The real Frank Abagnale at 38:48
Stef - FATAL ATTRACTION (Michael Douglas and Glenn Close) - u’ll love it.
Love how he taught French class but always wondered how he was never seen in any other class as a student by anyone he taught.
Because he only taught the French class. It's Highschool teachers have different students every hour.
@@laudanum669 so he never had a class as a student with anyone in that French class?
@@elliotthyde5623 because he was always teaching french.
he didnt teach french for a lesson and then go to his english class
he just became a sub teacher for french for X amount of time.
im guessing attendance wasn't really important back then or he found a workaround to that or smth.
@@KormitTheFrag yeah figured as much. Just something I wondered
These are movies you should watch:
The Impossible
Everything everywhere all at once
Coco
He did a speach at Google. Its on you tube and tells his story.
This was a pretty good movie. "Catch me if you can." Never saw the whole thing. 😂
John Williams does the music, so you know it’s gonna be pretty good🎼💕✨
You need to react to "The Society of the Snow", it´s just an amazing movie. If you do, pls do it in the original language.
Movie poster is the term your looking for
HES HEPPINGEM OUT HES HEPP 👁️👄👁️
She did rat him out, but she was also a vulnerable young woman who loves her parents and was distressed already when they disowned her for the abortion. So she probable was pressured by them to sell him out.
Bravo.
There have been 27 Bond movies with 7 different actors, so if you go there it's quite a commitment.
“Movie Poster” is, perhaps, the word you seek.
Or... cover art
This is based on a true story.
sweet, sensitive and brainy.. you are killer Stef
Hey Stef Solari
If it is okay, I would like to make a Movie Reaction Video request below.
If you haven't already seen it yet, is there any chance you could do a Reaction Video to the 1990 Movie "TREMORS" ?
i may have said this before. you have great vibrato. it s rare
The book is also good. There are things in it that did not make the movie.
@42:22 😅 so 🥰
Hello ❤
Greetings from the Finland. I like you and i have reguest. "Northman" movie. Its about our northern Viking ancestors, movie is really good. Good actors and its pretty realistic.
Please watch Green Mile, Shaw Shank Redemption or Se7en (Seven)
Cool Intro
Hey what’s up Stef I’m not a Patreon YET but I love your reactions would you please consider SICARIO
you mean the "cover"? :D 1:10
Great movie, just important to know that the real Abagnale was a fraud. His claim that he passed the LA bar exam by studying for 2 weeks is BS. (I’m a lawyer, and the bar exam can’t be cheated.)
He didn’t say he cheated, so I’m not sure where that comes into his story. He was a fraud, but where did you get the info that he didn’t pass the BAR, like he said he did.
@@mistyxmarlboro There’s no record of him passing it. Journalists disproved his claim decades ago.
the bear
The best part of him lying about all these different things, is that he lied about it all. He never actually did any of these things.
Evidently Stef needs to watch James Bond now. Watch the Daniel Craig movies!
Stefff you are gorgeous
Awesome reaction/ can you please watch a movie called ANY GIVEN SUNDAY.
Dunno why I read that as 'My Parents Pick'
Good movie love the video Stef stay motivated dream big 1 mill on the way
The guy that Frank's mom was cheating on his dad with is Josh Brolin's father, James Brolin, who was a very well-known TV actor in the 1970's.
If you watch Blood in and Blood out 1993 , Then there will be a chance ,10 days . Good luck , im leaving very soon.
react to ninja assassin
This movie is based upon an autobiography, but it turns out the book is full of lies. The story is mostly made up.
I had no idea that English wasn't your first language wtf
I know this wasn’t real or anything or some life story but I felt it was great for entertainment,
Wrong. Really was based on a true story, google it.
Just remember, almost none of this story is true. The guy really exists - but his most successful con was the one he pulled on the people who made this movie.
No one cares, Bro. It’s a good movie .
And the quiz show people. And the banks. You sure about what you "know"?
Youre just seeking attention bro stfu
@@neilgriffiths6427 just google the guy. You’ll see.
Or is that another con? There's more than one reason off the cuff I can think of that one would float that the story is a story. Especially later in life. (Coming from a guy who knew a guy)
Great film but a bullshit story. Abagnale has been outed for some time about having made most, if not all of this up.
Biggest con is that fact that he made people believe him.
im so in love with u
the real frank is still alive, he did all those things and now gives tedX talks about.
No, he didn't. Reasearch it. He basically did NONE of these things. It was all made up by him in a book he wrote. His biggest scam was making people believe it enough to have this movie made.
Most of this movie is nonsense. Frank is still conning people with a false story.
Sorry to burst your bubble but the movie is based on nothing. He made all of this up.
Stefania sos de Córdoba o porteña? Blda me muerooo ❤❤😮
yep, some people are natural con artists, and he was.
I love how he used the bible, the book of the biggest scam in the world used to help with a small scam.
Please tell me that whoever you keep looking at offscreen is not your boyfriend, that would ruin my fantasy, lol.
