Would love to see this with the performance package...blue accent on the wheels, black brake calipers, performance rear spolier...my only zonk..should have GT/CS on the seat headrest like in my 2014 GT/CS.Great review as always!
I just bought one yesterday. Vapor Blue Metallic. I wouldn't normally advocate spending $2k on an appearance package, but everything is done so well. I happen to love the wheels, so the $2k saves me from going out and buying aftermarket wheels. The blue accents look very good along the Vapor Blue Metallic paint, so I don't think it's cheesy looking. The interior accents are gorgeous, and even the floor mats are custom for the CS edition. (can't remember if Joe mentioned those). Mine is a premium with the active exhaust option, so it sounds great. I had a 2020 GT, and the 2024 is louder in stock form I think. I imagine they may have redesigned the midpipe resonator to be a bit more free-flowing. People aren't really getting any more power by adding an X-pipe or H-pipe so that has to be the answer. Overall very pleased.
The California special will always be my favorite edition of the mustang, followed secondly by the BOSS. I've never not liked an edition of the California special from any mustang generation. The retro one, 2005-08, and the revamp generation after, 2014-19, are my favorites, but this one you've got here is crispy too.
Apostle Joe, I do love the Ford Mustang GT California Special & like I've said with the new Toyota Land Cruiser, & I'm going to keep on saying, I love the fake vents it gives it style as to a plain old boring gray bumper. I'm glad Ford added the fake corner vents because without 'em, it'll look rather bare gray plastic.
Love the 2024 Mustangs. Honestly surprised how much inventory there is on them right now. Plenty on dealer lots for months and $1-$3k off MSRP. Wait for 2025 models to come out and you’ll get an even better deal
Bravo to Ford for continuing the 8 cyl Mustang. No more competition for now, so they can get even more creative with design. Love the blue seat color with the beautiful silver exterior.
Big zonk for the missing strut brace, and a bit for the missing faux side scoops. Definitely sets the CS apart. It still looks good. Sounds good too! Glad Ford is keeping the faith with the V8.
