Ok guys I tried this and it was epic But here are few things I did different I used Apple cider vinegar since I didn't have white vinegar And I used just a little less than 1/3 cup as it has really strong flavours and smell So after i made the water thingy ... I boiled it and added one spoon of turmeric powder ( I wanted to make damuji y'all can skip this step ) And then I put in the radish ( slices I sliced them coz that's how it is on dramas 😅) ( also I'm from India and we don't get daikon radish so I used normal radish and it tasted just the same ) And boiled for like a 30 secs And then transferred it to a container waited for it to cool down then refrigerated it ... And it was epic!!!! Guys if u have white vinegar I think it would be epic!!!!! But still it was amazing and really easy ...
Sis , I think this commet which I actually needed was yours , typical Indian one😉. thanks 🙂. Or else I would have messed up my kitchen 😅. And my opinion for this pickle would have changed 😂😂.
That's awesome you made it yourself! The one you made is a different version though! That one is commonly used as side dishes all the time. This cubed version and is suppose to be white is usually only paired with korean fried chicken. I love both though!
Amazing recipe! The best I've tried so far, it is a hit every time! Thank you so much for sharing! Extra tip: Because I rarely can find the original Korean radish,(I usually find the daikon type, which is sweeter) I add a pinch or 2-3 peppercorns of black pepper in each jar. It comes quite close to the original, proud to say, according to my Korean friends!😁😁😁
tried it and it is good. Just make sure to soak the peeled radish for 2 - 3 minutes in salt water then wash then repeat (2 times). It works for me. And put it in the refrigerator for 4 hours or 1 night before eating it.
hello if anyone knows. i also did this recipe but my radish is a bit bitter i use the one mostly used in sinigang. is there anyone knows why? or what should i do?
