@@eduardofernandez5217 You're right , all the channels are vying for our viewership because there are so many of them now and UA-cam changed up the revenue algorithms. It's seems like a desperate measure , almost sad , they are subtle yet obvious and it may turn into a competition. Then there are the ones who come right out and flaunt themselves, create Vimeo versions for revenue. Steffy Moreno is ahead of the curve with her site. Even the creators with superior content are having to lower themselves to get views now. I blame it on UA-cam's greed.

Heat gun works really well taking off marine lettering, takes the glue off with the numbers or lettering and leaves a nice clean surface...........salty dogs is a great name!
A heat gun gets too hot and blisters the paint or jell coat beneath. With a hair dryer, it is easier to control the amount of heat. The acetone was the proper way to take of the final remnants from the old lettering. In the end, she did just fine!

Love the videos, very addictive. But a safety comment: swimming in a marina - check for stray currents and avoid ESD (electrical shock drowning). Make sure the crew knows what to do (kill all the main breakers - boat and shore) and have someone watching when you are in the water.

Nice new Milwaukee drill. I took my chuck off and for like $30 had a machine shop make me a winch fitting that screws straight on where the chuck fits. Makes it lighter and smaller.
The new sails look great, very nice touch with the dogs & dog pirate! Like the new name for boat as well.

Those sails make the boat but I was really disappointed that we didn't get to see the new name on the stern along with Big-D. Bob, please savor every day with your pups! They add so much flavor to life and are gone all too soon. Here's wishing you good sailing brother. -- One of these days when you are back in Texas we'll go up and have some fun in the Mooney.

Good vibes thus far on the new boat. Bobby, I was a Boatswain's Mate in the Navy on two aircraft carriers. You should try working over the side way up on the super structure of one of those if you have a problem with heights!
