That is so awesome, guys! I always admire tourists who are willing to commute using the tricycles and jeepneys. If you don't mind it, it's really the cheapest way to get around the city. I just wouldn't recommend it during rush hour. Thanks for sharing, guys! Enjoy!

3:45 Binondo is the “OLDEST CHINA TOWN” in the WORLD not only Manila. ☺️ Founded in 1594 , was created by Spanish Governor Luis Pérez., Binondo in (Chinese: 岷倫洛; pinyin: Mínlúnluò; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Bîn-lûn-lo̍h) is a district in Manila and is referred to as the city's Chinatown. and Dasmariñas St. as a permanent settlement for Chinese immigrants (the Spanish called the Chinese sangleys) who converted to Catholicism. the river you cross is called PASIG RIVER and during those times it’s mostly use by our elders and foreign traders back and forth.

@@sunkissedbucketlist The location of popular hanging out places in Metro Manila changed through the years. Binondo was the place to hang out probably from the Spanish time until the 1950's. Then Carriedo, which is just near Binondo, became popular. After Carriedo, Cubao in Quezon City became the popular hang-out place. Then Makati came and edged out Cubao as the place to hang-out. Finally, BGC came and it became the most popular place to hang-out as of the present. Though malls by themselves became popular places to hang-out too aside from those mentioned places.
