The short one was my oldest sister Gwendolyn Berry, she was also a Raelette. RIP big sister. 😢 We are also first cousins to the Isley Brothers. Our mothers were sisters
OMG ANOTHER SISTERS LOVE CLIP!!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought the only TV they did was Soul Train, American Bandstand (which I heard their episode was lost or destroyed), and the appearance in The Mack!!! MY FAVORITE GIRL GROUP, THANK YOU FOR THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!
can anyone post their recording of "Ring Once"?...it is the flip side of their A&M single "Are You Lonely?"...It's just yet another great performance by these super talented ladies...
They were fantastic! Unfortunately, Wembley was such a huge venue, and I had the cheap seats, so I was quite far from the stage. The lead singer's voice had such a great range, and the show was super, it was my very first live show! I am looking forward to your tribute video.
This clip is to cool for words, thanks for sharing it with us. Sisters Love in this video are Vermettya Royster, Lillie Fort, Jeannie Long and the late Gwen Berry.
Gwendolyn was my oldest sister. She was the oldest of eleven. I am the youngest girl and child number eleven. 😍 We are also first cousins of the Isley Brothers. Our mothers were sisters .

They never got the attention that their talent deserved !
Sisters Love could sing like no other female soul group. They are the ultimate in in female soul.
The lead,Vermettya Royster , sang w Clara Ward and the Ward Singers in the mid to late fifties which is when her career began.

I saw the Sisters Love open for The Jacksons at Wembley in 1971, when I was 13. The tickets were two pounds, I think.
