The last time I saw Rusty I sold him a nice trombone for $20.00 at his home on Desher Ave. (I went over there to bum a free saxophone lesson off of him). I wanted to give it to him for free but he insisted on giving me something. So I said,"Ok twenty bucks then." We both played sax, neither of us played the trombone so I always wondered what he did with it. It was refreshing to hear him play again on you tube. His music brings back so many good memories. Thanks for sharing.
This song is actually the third track on the B side of Bryant's 1974 album "Until It's Time for You to Go." His 1973 album "For the Good Times" is not this funky.

Rusty playing 70's funk! Awsome! I have him with the Carolyn club band going nuts on 50's honking R&B.

Even a Tony Levin bass solo, and probably Joe Beck on guitar? or Spinozza?
