You know, I've often wondered why it is we have children in the first place. And the conclusion I've come to is... At some point in our lives we realize things are screwed up beyond repair. So we decide to start again. Wipe the slate clean. Start fresh. And then we have children. Little carbon copies we can turn to and say, "You will do what I could not. You will succeed where I have failed." Because we want someone to get it right this time. But not me... Personally speaking I can't wait to watch life tear you apart. India, who are you? You were supposed to love me, weren't you?

Something I really love in Park Chan Wook's titles is the relationships between the characters.
Some would say they're not sane, they're rather disturbing. I'd say they're fascinating. The way they speak with each other, they love each other, they hate each other : these interactions are magnificent, as the characters that make them happened.
Along with Stoker", I especially love "The Handmaiden" and "Lady Vengeance" for this reason. The writting of the characters and the way the actors made them live is incredible.
This is the kind of movie that stay with your mind for long time if not forever.
