Amazing skills for the reflow. Did the digitizer replacement but still facing the same fault. Do not feel comfortable with the CPU reflow. Is it possible to reflow the CPU with flux without removing the underfill ? Can you confirm if the boosted 15 volt will be absent if the digitizer is not detected by the CPU? Ours is missing. Garbage PCBA by the contractor.
Obviously not recommended to reflow the CPU, it could work for couple of hours/days/weeks but not long for sure, can you be more specific about the boosted 15v line ??
@@AntoineKiriaky10 Thank you so much for the reply. The referenced 15v boost is the PP15V0_TOUCH. It is at 0 volts and may be due to the A10 CPU losing the bonds under the BGA. With regret, believe the A10 is no longer due to the reflow attempt. Can you comment on if the a10 CPU on Aliexpress for the iphone series are the same or not for the ipads? Also, there is a mention of the A10 RAM. Is this a dual layered CPU package? Welcome your comments. We have a reflow BGA workstation that will be deployed on the next attempt (Seamark). Need guidance on the A10 CPU replacement. Does the serial # change once the CPU is replaced? Which tool allows for the proper activation of the logic board after the replacement? The logic board is unlocked but the touch was not working. We replaced the digitizer with a new one - no go. Replaced the Broadcom touch IC - reflowed fine but still not working. The SPI CLK line in diode mode was fine. With regret, did not check the other SPI lines in diode mode after the balls were cleaned on the PCBA. Thanks again.
Hey actually my ipad screen also stopped working, i asked some local service centres and they said ipad screen is dead, but it should first start to get slow or something, because it literally just stopped responding to touch while i was using it, like literally in a snap, a second. So can it be a hardware issue or a software one, plz reply And yes the ipad is working perfectly fine, no slow no heat just the touch, home button is also working like new, my ipad is 6th gen 2018 ver.
