Wouldn't it be more correct to call the quadriceps a muscle "group" made of four individual muscles- instead of " the quadriceps muscle? In other words- there is no muscle in the human body called the "quadriceps", but rather the three vast us brothers and the cactus femoris? Just like there is no hamstring " muscle

Sorry- vastus brothers - and rectus femorus, and no hamstring muscle but the semimembrenosis, semitendenosis, and biceps femoris.
