In 1996 I had the opportunity to drive a 1994 model. It was outstanding. Best handling of any car I have ever driven. Thanks for your video, it brings back some great memories.
I ordered one at the UK motor show to replace my Eclat. After the test drive, I was underwhelmed and disappointed with the front wheel drive. I couldn’t justify the large cost difference especially when I consider that the Eclat out handled the new Elan. I ended up buying a second hand Ferrari 308GTB. Another story and one that I’d wished I’d started earlier. 😎 BTW my Eclat was the best handling car. Even after 3 Ferraris.
Great car that was probably too complex and over engineered for its intended market at the time it was launched - a financial recession didn't help. A good one is a hoot to drive and they are quite a reliable car if you look after them, mine is still going strong after 30 years...very safe in all weathers and easy to extract the performance when you want it...Thanks for the video :)

I had a first-generation Miata. I upgraded to the M100 and still have it after over 25 years.

what price would i buy a 1992 elan m100 at?
It depends on where you buy it and its condition. Good ones go now for $20-35K in the US, 10-13K GBP in the UK, and 20-30K euros in the EU.
