Where he is, on Central Vanciuver Island, the temperature rarely goes below zero and they don't get much snow. If you go a bit further north and go to higher elevations they do get some fairly significant snowfall and there is a ski hill. The area is know for being able to ski in the morning and golf in the afternoon. Short answer, the bears don't hibernate much.....Smiles
😂🤣😅 the way Cruze played the best "Diva" moment ever!!! He literally sat next to you making sure the camera aka viewers saw how uncomfortable you were making him by taking up his space on the duffle bag. Then turned his head as to say... See how he treats me? 😂🤣😂 what a movie star!
The propane instant hot shower is a game changer, especially in the beautiful outdoors. I’ve had that same moment. Looking around, just thinking… is this real life?!
That drone footage with the music was amazing. I’m sat here trying to write a small speech for the memorial of my friend who died last year. I’ve not been able to concentrate but that footage and music grabbed my attention and has cleared my head. Thanks Chrome

I love the sunrise in Vancouver Island...the music is perfect...I could watch this all day and never tire of the changing colors and the waterfalls and the rivers... The sound of the fire is perfect..I can almost feel is worth against my legs.
Cruzy needs one of those dog cots. He would love it. It would get him off the ground and you can throw a blanket on it to help keep him warm. ❤ I use one for my dog out in the woods ❤❤❤

Everyone needs a break but I miss your posts when you take a break. I only Van Life in the summer because I go with a wheelchair and it's just too hard in the winter. Your vlog is done so well and it keeps me excited for next summer when I can resume my van adventures.
I was at one time considering vanlife. But after watching several different channels I have given it up. At 73yo I can’t picture my next adventure on my knees. I have since investigated an bought an Italian made camper van. 78.000.00 Euros all in. Yes it is a little more luxurious. Sleeps 4 - I only need for one. Kitchen, bathroom & shower. Lots of storage.
What a beautiful area you were in Chrome! I love western Canada. Cruz was hilarious they way he wanted to play and claimed the bag to sit on by the fire! He is adorable. We started part time van life in Nov. and are traveling until May when we head back to our land in northern Michigan. You inspire me to get out and explore and be grateful for the chance to experience all that nature has to offer. 🤩

It is truly inspiring to see the van life from many perspectives. You bring a really nice unique view of it and the experience as well. I have been thinking about getting my own van for a long time, but always get sucked into convincing myself not to do it, even internally I know it is the right thing to do. I found your channel not too long ago and have been binge-watching from the start and there was one time where your heart was beating a little bit faster and you were out the back once and it was the middle of the night and you just took off you said people were being loud you didn't know what they were doing so you just kind of took off so there has been a time or two but nothing too crazy I like your contact keep up the great work
I noticed that about the tea-coloured water in the east as well. I learned later that it is from all the tannins in the water that come from bogs, muskeg, and peat.

I know what you mean by the clear streams. I lost a brand new Swiss army knife in a river near Mt. Rainer when I was a wee lad. I remember that i could very well see the bottom of the 6 or 7 feet of swiftly flowing water, my pocket knife was not in sight...I had to concede defeat as a mountain stream in January for a 13 year old boy would have made that small tool a most expensive one as it may very well have taken my life. Your travels are an inspiration and I hope you continue. 🙏
