Just discovered Lo Moon this weekend when they opened up for The War on Drugs. Lovely venue listening to Lo Moon's chill vibe while taking in the sunset at an apple orchard in Central (upstate) New York. I'm dating myself here, but the tone of Lo Moon's vocal is reminiscent of Mark Hollis (Talk Talk) on their Spirt of Eden record (1988) and/or Catherine Wheel on their Ferment record (1992).

Well constructed songs played well. Just a fine band.
Magical. Matt, Crisanta and Sam - just hoping all your world touring doesn’t wear you all down and challenge your creative energies. We await the album - take your time and, as Mark Hollis indicated, make every note count.
