I Google mapped 'rocks' and it took me to the downtown east side 😅 Hella capable and love that side door. I could see a 4S jammed in there. No problem 🤘
Nice buggy! And also the spot you chose for filming this. It is certainly nicer than the old spot you were using for crawling. It is beautiful! You probably sacrifice a bit more of tour time to reach this spot but it is totally worth it! Videos certainly look a lot better in this spot!
Vanquish is next level. I have a VS4 Phoenix & it's just better than any of the Axial's (Capra/SCX10) or TRX4 I've had . So smooth & capable, a joy to use. Only drawback for me is the lack of bling available as I like scale crawling. But if you're considering this buggy, I think you'll be very impressed.
I hope this one isnt to expensive and there are loads of us that want vanquish maybe you could be a distributor there are people who want them i really want the stance and now this great review cheers tomley
This is the first video of yours, that finally piqued my interest, and made me think and question that maybe I am missing something by ruling out All Trail and Crawler vehicles. Having always been into the speedier variety, whether it be On or Off Road. But at £400 do I continue support with buying Raffall Tickets? Or save for a few months and get this, although i would like it to be a little faster lol. But genuinely do not know how much actual use i would get, And also looking at it, would love to have a go building one for myself, Maybe using some brass tubing to make some kind of sub/frame etc, But i have zero experience building one, although i am quite technically minded. Decisions Decisions haha, Wish we had some clubs like you go to, closer to home, then maybe have a day/evening out asking the experts, Although i do hate the thought of turning up to one, only to find out they're nowt more than a clique stuck up bunch of a-holes, Whose excrement does not stink, and who look down on the beginners. Refusing to answer any questions etc etc, Like the last one i went to a few years back, actually discouraging me from getting back into the hobby after 30 years, until i started watching you and Kev on YT. And taking the plunge, finally enjoying the hobby once again. So thanks for that :)
There's so much choice in rc you can do anything you want, if you don't like something, sell it and something else. Brilliant hobby, love it all, or most of it.😊😊😊😊😊
That crawling location is so gorgeous I want to get one of these just so I can go find places like that. Btw I think your intro graphic was just black screen.
I might need to do a Google search, find that spot, and buy a plane ticket to the UK! How perfect for this rig! What camera did you use for the under-chassis shots?! Assuming it's not a trade secret, that is.
What a capable, nice looking rig! Reasonable price if we could get them in Europe for 450€. Good that Vanquish is releasing some cheaper rigs. (I mean cheaper than their usual, not "cheap" cheap... 😅)
Cant really bitch about the the price, quality parts and build and comes with one of the best RTR radios thats offered with any RC. Love their products and hoping to pick one up if overtime keeps rolling at work 👍
Vanquish is smoking something with these prices tho, the fact that the capra for only $50 extra has portal axles, 4ws, transmission with dig option already installed, a full set of lights, and some pretty nice scale details and to add to this list heaps of aftermarket support. Yeah, imma still say that $500 for something like this is ridiculous.
I was talking to craig over at rctnt about one day they'll come out with true rack and pinion steering for R/C along with electromagnetic. Seems they are on their way with the steering setup on this. Think a series of electro magnets on a cylindrical housing with associated magnets on the shaft.......think of a maglev train only it moves the rack instead of the vehicle.
Hey, just a quick one, ive always wondered about those cheap belt drive kits for the Axial SCX10, is this something you could/want to do a "review/test" on? Ive found one other video that was alright but wasnt really to my needs
Hey Tom, there’s an app as well to add and find spots called RC Spotters. We have a few spots in the UK in the app but would love to add more if you have a list?
Side by side test against that rc4wd buggy , i think people would stop crying about the $$ i mean even your best fms wont compare . The worst part is usually the stock electronics, and leaky shocks.. still stronger than a toy grade fms for sure.
Cross RC XX10 T-REX Please show wiring in the cab and in the chassis. Got of these on the list for the next couple months. Just trying to work out mods for interior. What interior would you go for? I am thinking about a bus from fast and furious FPV camera in the turret on the front, possible thermal camera and head tracking with manual controls FPV for driving with night vision and head tracing BB fire controls on front turret Weapons station monitoring in cab with screen from turret FPV proximity sensors station and range finder CCTV monitoring screens for workers of the M198's Some lower chassis lights plus a whole lot more For this build can you upload pictures of stuff of interest please or more over head shots where you slow down more so we can learn how the pro's do it 🙂. Cross RC as always just don't show you things you need to know. They built it but didn't show any of the wiring for where it went. Also need those chassis shots to see where there is empty space. If possible can you try to add a traxxas 3s battery some where in the chassis lie maybe under the motor or in the rear? I would like to keep the storage boxes for ammo for the m198's and other things, like tools and javelin missiles. If you can show a battery that fits and tell us the battery make and model we'll know for sizing. For this truck I am thinking about adding 2000kv motors, I wonder if when cross said dont exceed 12100Kv what they really mean but then said if you are going brushless it should be less than 1600Kv? We need to Mr Talbot to build this just so we can see what kinda of destruction he can do as he does. We get info from you then watch Kevin destroy, sorry Game over. Of course great job as always, not trying to rush you on the build 🙂, and love the videos.
Crawlers and trail buggies are not really my kind of thing within the RC hobby. It does look nice but £400 seems pricey for something with a cheap ESC, servo and motor in it. I can't help feeling you'd have a ton more fun with an Arrma Senton 3S BLX and it is £40 cheaper. I'm maybe missing the point though with these things.
Crawling & trailing is all about being in a beautiful landscape & the technical, considered & mindful process of navigating incredibly challenging terrain. It's very calming & relaxing! And that doesn't necessarily mean it's any cheaper than the high octane adrenaline rush stuff.
@@MrGoat73 Each to their own. I have over 25 different RC cars from vintage buggies, indoor racers, bashers and triple digit MPH speed run cars. But I've never felt compelled to give this genre a try. I do like the look of this buggy but for me £400 is too much for what you get. I have cars that cost well over £750 but they are good value for what you are getting. It's the same reason I wouldn't pay £500 for a Tamiya Egress. I like Tamiya but you can buy an FTX SupaForza for that money. Like drifting, I consider crawling and trailing a very niche part of the hobby for a certain type of RC enthusiast. And that's cool.
Ah. Its just like any other rc buggy of the last 10 years lol. The front axle is pretty cool with steering but thats about it. Nothing for me to rush out and buy though. I still think its crazy that rc companies still throw brushed crap in $450+ crawlers. No other rc category would that fly.
