I really love this home and it’s gorgeous rural peaceful setting. The pool area is such a great gathering place that I could imagine strung with lights and perhaps a fire pit close by. Maybe the rock placed at the edge of the pool was used as a “diving rock”. The house itself is so warm and cozy. The “real” stone fireplace so nice. I could imagine watching a cold snowy day from in front of that fireplace. Beautiful views throughout the house. The kitchen could use a wee bit of updating. Wish I could buy this property. I would love to live in such a setting as this. My heart hurts at the thought of it’s pending destruction. Again an amazing explore Ethan. Take care be well and stay safe. It was popular in the 1990s and 2000s for new construction to try to mimic older homes, the farm style and arts n craft were popular to copy. That place doesn't give any "old but remodeled" vibes to me. Interesting the 3 different floor colors on the 2nd floor, and no main bath up there too. Thanks for another great video, stay warm!
That kitchen was totally 60's or 70's refreshed. That's an old house.

Wow thats an amazing country. home. In the beginning I thought it was so updated maybe it wasn't really old until you showed the old fuse box in the kitchen which really dates it. It was a beautiful property and a shame its going to be demolished. Who wouldn't want to live in the country , with a swimming pool , and barn for for horse, cows , sheep, and goats. The perfect life. Thank you for the tour. ❤

Hi Ethan 😎🏎💨,what a great house to stay in the summertime like you said and have cookouts and no one would bother you. Aside the bats in the sink they probably died from hitting the window and got trapped in there.Also I’m sure that pool outside was really nice once and I like that patio by the pool with the built in cookout area. That garage looked old on the outside but updated on the inside perfect for teenagers to hangout up there and play video games/watch movies or whatever. The house is cute,wonder what happened to the family. The house itself doesn’t look to damaged,it could all be fixed for the right family to own it. I like the big fireplace in the living room. The bedroom are average size just perfect for a short stay. I bet the grass looked nice and it had a nice family there. The windows had nice views. All in all not a to bad house.That squirrel outside was cute,I like squirrels to❤. Good video Ethan 😁can’t wait to see the next house,stay warm 🧤🧣stay awesome 😎🏎💨

This was another cool find! Doesn’t seem to empty long. The separate garage is also fairly new. Looks to be an unfinished barnadium. So many potentials for this property.

What an awesome home! The inside does look updated , though the kitchen is small in my opinion! They should had took down that little wall nook and opened the kitchen and made it bigger! The outside just needs alot of TLC

Seen this house before but you made it more interesting showing all the lovely stone floors and the shelving that continues as a breakfast bar in the kitchen, all the large windows and that patio bit upstairs. If you like country properties you should come up to my house. I'm rural and there are at least 5 abandoned properties within 20 minutes of my place that I have never seen any posted videos of..... virgin bandos! lol
Those flies and ladybugs don't really show how long this house has been abandoned for. I get that at my house. It's just something rural areas get a lot of in the warmer months and those cluster flies are soooooooo annoying! I enjoyed this video Ethan. To be totally honest though, and I know it's your thing, but I'm not a fan of the Mc Mansions that you do. Sometimes I will still watch, but they all seem the same to me. They have no charm at all....this was a great surprise!!!!!!

In the States, we call the bathroom with just the sink and toilet a half bath, if it has a tub and/or shower it is a full bath
Loved the tour of this place that deserves to stand at least 20 more years but land is governed so different nowadays,like there’s been homes that have stood up for an eternity, good built ones and the money dunked into a place for only a short while,then barely any time on the market, but real estate investors are needing new places all the time. Was a day when building on hiked the property value some, but Some people want too much acreage,if there’s no farming on it. Commercial farms are necessary but sometimes it’s nice to see family owned farms too❣️👍 Excellent job on showing the outside areas too. Get in where it’s warm to regenerate❣️👍🥰

Not An old one, Too well lighted by modern windows. Track lighting is a late 80s early 90s trend. the old owner really spent some $ on this one. Wonder if it was a break up? or an early demise? wow.....nice job recording it Ethan.

Wow, to me, the outside looked like it would take a lot of work to bring back. But the inside was very nice!

Who ever live in that house can help but notice they use a rock to scober diving in the pool.
As I get closer to retirement, I would love a place like that...if it was within a 20-30 mile drive to a Walmart like place to do my shopping. Amazon deliveries would also be perfect! I bet it's beautiful out there in the winter if that area gets snow. I'd fence in 3 acres for my dogs. All the same, seeing that this area is so rural and if it snows, I'd assume the owners would be responsible for plowing the roads in order to have access to a main highway. So I'm thinking a place like this would be a great getaway home, especially during the summer, but for a younger working family with kids...the daily commute would be hellish during winter and possibly why it's hard to get buyers and or occupants.
I'm rural. The townships plow the roads. The only place you have to plow would be your driveway, but some driveways are VERY long. No shovels, you need a snowblower. Our driveway is very long and we get a friend with a tractor to come plow our driveway. If its not too deep my husband does it with his ATV. Generally Wal-Mart isn't close. I have to travel 40 minutes ONE WAY to get to Wal-Mart!!!!!! It's so funny you mention commuting. We have so many people move up from the city, stay for one winter and then move back down because they can't handle it . I drive through white outs just to go to my daughters hockey games😁
