I haven't seen Madness in forever, not since I was a little kid sneaking on school computers to watch them on Newgrounds. I didn't know they made a new game either so that says a lot! This so so cool. I also love your game playthroughs dude. Somehow, no matter how scary or violent they are like Dead Space or Cry of Fear, you make them all so calming. uwu

This game is really good the "Arena" mode is nice :p I hope they expand the Arena mode more or atleast make a seperate mode which is basically the same but connected to the Campaign :p
@@gameropsperson2877 i know, i played the game and i said "I hope" like maybe they going to add something like that in the future and not "there is" in the way of there is a mode that does that.
I remember playing a game that looked exactly like Project Nexus, but it wasn't the 2D version of this game, it was something else. It was a 2D left-right only type of game, I think the enemies came in waves and as time went on you unlocked more guns and weapons to use. I remember very well because of how much blood and gore was on screen and how much I liked it. I don't remember where I played it though, it may have been Newgrounds but I don't think so since it looks different from my memory
this is one hell of a way to stop experiencing a depressive episode. you really know how to make an almost 50 minute video feel just like 12 minutes of pure bliss
Now there's also someone developing an extremely good madness interactive remake. I've seen the trailer and it looks hella good, the game even let's you create your custom guns in the integrated gun creator.
The Experiment is rlly good if you like a guns blazing type of play style. His unarmed makes him very VERY deadly. And early game you don't even need to train him due to the damage he does anyways.
My first playthrough was Experiment and they are a BLAST because claws so rip and tear, will never get why they don’t have a strength in unarmed. But patients is fun too! Unarmed is at least easy to grind once you get gloves for extra damage.
Hell yeah, love this game to death and I’ve been following the development of it since the first stages of its Kickstarter, glad to see you playing it and arena mode too. It’ll be cool to see what build ya do Batesy boy
Artistically the game is so stunning, big fan of it, though I didn't know it existed until now as I watch it. Thanks for introducing a really wel crafted piece of art man, loved your narration and characer voices, immersive as hell
oh my lord this looks so fun, great video! Also, great animated sequense and i LOVE you humor lmao Btw if you dont mind me asking, have you considered playing elden ring? or are you just not into those kinds of games?
I loved playing this series as a kid, so many hours well spent killing sprites. So glad you enjoy it too, makes my day hearing you enjoy playing a game
I'm so glad this game was a huge success. Madness is finally getting the recognition it deserves. Big thanks to friday night funkin for introducing younger audiences to it
I have been looking for a playthrough of this! Excellent timing! Also if you enjoy flash games may I recommend plazma burst 2? Incredibly well done for a game made in 2011. Still playable too although now its only available as a standalone application.
Love the little voices and bits of editing, I was subed before you left for a while but I can't say I watched that much but this ones definitely making me regret it. Also probably gonna go out of my way to play this myself later, the leveling progression for action games is such a fun system
god i remember loving the madness combat series so much when i was a child, and when i saw when this game released a few months ago i was just so excited to play it. thank you soo much for playing this!!! love your channel and its great to see you back! :D
NO FUCKING WAY DUDE I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU'RE PLAYING THIS GAME!! If you need a co-op campaign partner I can and will play with you through parsec. This is something I never expected to see oml
Honestly, the patient isnt worth it. The resist dissy is somewhat noticeable, but the imaginary friend is only useful when starting off, and seems to appear when you need him the least. That, or I'm just unlucky.
GREAAAAATTT video, already waiting for part 2 i'm a huge fan of Madness Combat, and for a long time now. I knew next to nothing about project nexus and i'm euphoric finding out now about the quality of this game
i personnally never played those games weirdly enough , even though i played a lot of flash games.I'm glad i got to learn about them from you! keep the good content up , it's amazing!
I started playing this game in 2018 cause I bought Beta Access. Great game, I've played it recently as well I just miss the Murder Room and Abandoned Outpost. Those 2 were like my favorite maps, and they've sadly been removed.
All honesty, would love to see more of this here with batesee’s talking. Think this will be a lovely little trip into Nevada with my favorite green lad.
When I heard the classic project nexus music in the sleepwalker i instantly got nostalgia overload. Madness Combat will always remain as my number one childhood.
I loved the urgency when you emphasized to not take away the hands from a Grunt.

It's a shame Project Nexus is so small outside of its community. Absolutely amazing game for something made by such a small team!
I remember watching these Madness animations on Newsgrounds. I fucking love them to this day.

Gosh, I was just thinking that there was little Madness Combat content out there, and now YOU out of all people start a series on it ? Brilliant !!!
I always liked madness combat for its simplicity in character design and also the violence plays a big part
Whoever did the sound design for this game did a fantastic job, I can almost feel those hits through the screen
