You have amazing arms! Please try not to be self conscious about them. They are an indication that you are healthy and toned, and that is nothing to be embarrassed about. Beautiful knitting, BTW!!
@@AnItalianKnitter SERIOUSLY IF ANYONE SHOULD BE SELF CONSCIOUS ABOUT ARMS IS ME MINE ARE HUUGE BUT I TELL MYSELF THIS ISHOW I WAS BORN AND EVERYONE ON THIS EARTH IS DIFFERENT AND THATS WHAT MAKES EVERYONE UNIQUE 😻
Francesca, that copper color looks beautiful on you, I think you need more of it😊. Lovely projects as always and can't wait for your cowl design to be released. Cozy knits are my jam.
Thanks for another interesting episode. Love all your knit tees and tanks, but especially love the Copper-coloured Tolsta tee in this episode. I have just started my first Tolsta tee which I'm knitting as a KAL with a friend who is based in Australia while I am in New Zealand.
A great episode. It was full of inspiration and fun. I would never think anything about your arms, they look very nice. But I know sometimes things bother us that other people don't notice, you have to be comfortable with how you look, so you make your sleeves how you want them. I loved the Kolibri, it wi!l definitely be on my to do list, its very stylish. That color is stunning. The Sauble Tank is also something I would love to add to my wardrobe. Thank you for sharing all the beautiful projects and yarn.
Loving the vibrant yarns you've been using lately! They look so good on you~ I can't wait for your cowl pattern! Garter and a double wrap cowl 🤩 everything I could even ask for. Enjoy the rest of your vacation!
Also, any idea about how much yarn the cowl will require. I have a couple of skeins of fingering I'd like to use, but if I need more, I want to get on is sooner rather than later lol.
Double Sunday added to my “must have” yarn. And that blue in particular 💙 Stunning projects as always Francesca! I really like your double wrap cowl design. Cannot have too many cowls in the fall/winter here in Canada!
I thoroughly enjoy your podcasts and I thank you for bringing your joyful attitude into my knitting life. I also love the Knitting for olive and Sandnes Garn yarns. Enjoy the rest of your summer! Here in Ireland, Fall is already here!
WOW!! I am in love with both of your Tolstas. I'm from South Africa and we're entering spring now, I was planning on a short sleeve Ranunculus, but after seeing your two Tolstas, I'm making a Tolsta! The blue for the Diane Sweater is absolutely stunning and the colour suits your so well! Thanks for sharing your passion :)
Hi Francesca, what a nice episode with gorgeous projects! 🤩 Thank you for the yarn shop recommendations! I am going to travel in Toscana region in some weeks and I saved the yarn shops you mentioned in Bolognia and Firenze for myself to visit in. I am really excited to get some yarn souvenirs (especially Italian wool) for future projects.
Your trip sounds so exciting! In addition to WoolDone’s shop, when you’re in Bologna I would also recommend a “knitting caffè” (that I’ve never been to but I have been told multiple times that it’s lovely) called Il Caffè dei Gomitoli instagram.com/il_caffe_dei_gomitoli
Francesca, Thank you for sharing your knitting! Everything that you knit looks amazing on your body. You knit beautifully. I’m sorry that you’re unhappy with your arms. At 52 years old, I’m going to encourage you to enjoy your youthful beauty. Your arms are fantastic! 🧶💕
Thank you for another interesting podcast, sorry if I keep repeating myself, I love the colours that you choose for your projects, you always make me smile with your good humour, sending you love from Ireland xx
Love the half twisted rib on your Tolsta Tee. I use a half-twisted rib whenever I can and will definitely be using it for my first Tolsta Tee next month. (I’m in the Southern Hemisphere and we will soon be heading into Spring.)
I love your new scarf design, might be exactly something that I need! I would love to knit shawls but I actually noticed that I hate how the ends of the shawl fall and hang in the way even though I would wrap them. So this kind of cowl might be my thing!
I always enjoy your podcast! I always mess up a tubular/ sewn bind off and I really hate doing it. You have given me such confidence to just do a preferred bind off or cast on and be ok with what I am comfortable with, thank you so much 🎉
Such a fun episode, Francesca! It was great catching up with you. I never tire of your love of olive green! It looks so beautiful with your dark hair color especially! I can't wait for the Diane Sweater pattern release! It's such a beautiful sweater. I'm excited to hear your thoughts on it when you finish. Hope you enjoy the end of your time in your summer house, too! 😍
Thank you, Josie! I love having your support ❤️ So curious to wear the Diane Sweater (and the lack of short rows) soon and report back. Hope you’re having a nice month of August
I love the Sauble Tank in the colour you have chosen, the style really suits you. You always have great taste in the items you knit and the colours you chose. I feel well and truly inspired and have added more items to my 'to do' list. Thank you! 😁

Hi Francesca, this Diane sweater looks amazing on you! I'm looking forward to seeing the result! And maybe to follow you and knit it as well :)
Funny you mentioned your arms. When I first saw your arms, a while back, I said that was my arm goals! When I'm at the gym, I think of you and envy your arms! xoxoxo
I love the color of your Diana sweater, it looks good on you! And it makes me think I need a sweater in this color too 🙂 Also thank you for the yarn store recommendation! I'm going to Florence in the end of this month, and I took a note to visit the shop you mentioned.
Love your Tolsta Tee! I’m currently finishing the Corran Cardigan. I like the almost finished product, but I did find I had to size up (even with an ok gauge swatch) and I’m not wanting to knit again as I really got tired of knitting the lace pattern. I don’t remember if you had knitted this pattern. Any thoughts about the fit of the Tolsta? I do spend a lot of time trying on my projects throughout the knitting.
Oh my god the Diane sweater. I need one in my life. And your color is perfect as well! 😍 Will definitely make one when the pattern is released!! (might fold the collar though 😏)
I love your projects. I have a DK tolsta and am working a fingering weight one now. BTW, your arms are perfection, IMO😜. I love your Italian Autumn Cowl. It is the type of cowl that I would wear so I will add it to my list of future projects.
Hi! Really love your podcast! Just asking: do you know the best address for yarn in Milano, Bellagio? I’m from Canada and I’m coming there next week for work. Thanks!
I did that, so I guess maybe they’re just not interested anymore or don’t read their notifications, which is totally fair 👌🏼 Not sure what to do with the two extra prizes, maybe I can giveaway them on Instagram instead - or keep them for myself 😈
I adore that tank top on you! It's completely fine to be self conscious of your arms, but personally I love muscular arms on women. You can just say that you're in your strong girl era!
The body is on hold on some random scrap yarn but the sleeves are on hold on some “stitch holders”. They’re hollow tubes that slides onto your needles and make WIPs easier to try on. I got mine from the PetiteKnit website www.petiteknit.com/en/collections/stuff/products/put-your-stitches-on-hold-maskewires but you can get them from other yarn stores and just craft stores in general.

Aaah that’s so sweet of you, thank you! 🙏

I love that blue of the sweater! It's my fav shade of blue so I'm so tempted by that yarn...

Never try to hide your arms, they are amazing and many people will loved to have arms like yours. Show them proudly girl!!
Nicely done. Thank you for the details about the yarn you are using.
Your arms are inspiring! And that electric blue is stunning on you!!

Wow the electric blue sweater is gorgeous on you and even though fairly different the Cooper silk one came out beautiful on you…. ❤❤❤

another great podcast. I don't see the link on how to do the crochet technique to tighten up the a neckline. Can you tell me where I can find it?
