Someone mentioned in the comments of the video that finishing that sequence got you the best ending. So I typed Darkwood best ending in the search bar and this was the first video that appeared.
@@KageMinowara The radio tower affects the ending very little, if even at all. It's just a alternate way of getting to the ending. Only difference being that you get more information about what this supposed group is that you the protagonist were apart of. There's no "best ending" in Darkwood, there's two: One where you find out the truth ( the true ending ) and the ending where you don't. The ending you get depends on what you do in the epilogue.
So... The military attempted to study and maybe even destroy the forest, but couldn't do shit to it. The radio tower was an outpost and it seems our main character was part of the team (judging by the fact that he knew the code to the door). In the end, only he managed to break out of forest's illusions and carry out what had to be done. Judging by the final message of helicopters coming towards the village - the forest wasn't a worldwide event, but contained in this area, albeit a vast one. I wonder... Is there no way to escape the fire in the end?
@@zarexlunar5011 Well... Unfortunate, but i guess that's the way it goes. Its just so ruthless to die after flamethrowing a crowd of people while trying to escape, only to die anyway. Fits the game's overall style and atmosphere i suppose.
Nope! I tried my best to run from the fire 3 times. The third time I bugged it a little bit and I went so much faster but still died to the same place. It's a checkpoint to die I think.
The Forest must have been huge if in that note the one of the honeycomb cells was as big as 360 square kilometers. And this note was probably from few years ago.
Even if you make it all the way back go where you came in, you can't climb back out the tunnels. You, everyone, the Being, the forest, all of it burns.

The scarecrow with the Hazmat suit is where the main character got his clothes from--he swapped with it after getting loose from the nearby tree he was tied to with his two partners. The Trader is said to have a familar face to the main character, is wearing a hazmat suit that appears to be useless, is made of mushrooms, has a mushroom copied version of the underground key and journal, and constantly calls the main character "brother". It's like how the grandma in the mushroom hut was said to have basically been a clone.
It's funny watching people eat the odd meat because it gives them the "thicker skin" buff. But thanks to the questionable translation, "thicker skin" actually makes you take extra damage
Darksunrise Should probably be called something like "weak bones" or something that doesn't imply durable flesh, because who would ever associate "tougher skin" with "I now take extra damage"

Just a savior id say, all the people there were all too far gone to be saved and would ve died anyway to the being, the stranger did em a courtesy by ending their suffering faster and by killing the being stopped it from luring and feeding on more people.
so it was an outbreak of a micro organism that takes on the appearance of trees... when you burn it helicopters come for the survivors.... I guess this ending gives you a little more context but not much is different.
I think the bacteria is just an extension of the eldritch entity. It's able to manipulate and corrupt life, twisting it and draining it of life. That giant orb is its physical body (just taking a guess) but it can influence others via the fungus and roots
I completed the dream sequence but messed up somewhere. I didn't see roots growing in my living room and it didn't give me an option of "look closer, go to sleep or leave" at my bed. Just sleep or leave. Also didn't see an option to pull the floor up. I'll try again later sometime lol.
You must look around your apartment building for things that breaks the protaganists illusion of bliss. Example the radio in the basement and the fetus lying on the floor in one apartment

In The Darkwood Scenario, That's a tough Choice.the answers would only depend on the each person's Mindset or Belief but i My case i will choose Harsh reality but i wouldn't mind other people choose sweet fantasy in the darkwood scenario.

Life is all about doing everything you can to first of all stay alive, but right after that, enjoying the "being alive" part the best you can, does not matter if it's real or not, only of your brain makes you think it is real. And of course, if there are people that need you in the real life like your family for example, then you shouldn't choose that, but if everyone does it together, let's fucking go man.

The tree mercied me , i don't know how that happened, I accidentally axe-murdered the doctor though. The tree led me out of the woods, i tugged in my bed and went to sleep.
I knew this would happen. Ever since manchilplier played the game every Darkwood video is flooded with his fanbase. I miss the times when it was just a quiet game.
Well, I guess you're kinda right. Game ganing popularity is a good thing. It's just, that as a person, who hates his content, I can't stand those ,,who here from mark XDDD" or similar comments under every video that I watch. Same thing happened with subnautica. Same thing happened with SOMA. Same thing will happen with Amnesia:Rebirth, and that's what upsets me the most.

@Blut Memes no believe me I did. I just had a pistol with 3 extra ammos and I thought the radio tower is a place for looting then I saw what it is. That dream sequence was tricky but I survived with half a health bar.
