Thank you for this reaction! She's great isn't she?! She started out as a You Tube singer, getting a big break when Pink reacted to Davina's version of What about us. Pink said: That's better than I can do it. This year she's one of the artists on The best Singer of the Netherlands (beste zangers van Nederland) where Glennis Grace and O'G3ne also participated in earlier editions.

What kind of photocamera do you use to record yourself? I like the shallow depth of field where your background is softer. This lady indeed has a kind of Lana del Rae voice but also a bit of Gaga=ish vocals! I am so often amazed how many people on youtube present thereselves and so many unknown amazing singers here!

All Davina Michelle's covers a beautiful but her most famous one has 10 million views. Pink's song "What about us". Pink viewed it and sad "Holy Shit" and she "could never sound as good as Davina" and now she "knows how it's supposed to sound". Pink's reaction is also on UA-cam...

Such a nice intro..your're not yelling into the mic. No offense, I love your videos, but I usually skip ahead 40 second to avoid the yelling-intro.
She is amazing but is it anyone else who thinks she sounds very similar to Zara Larsson.

Agreed and it is a turn off to me. Also generally not that impressed by her. From what I have seen of Beste Zangers videos...I much preferred both Glennis and Do.

English language songs currently dominate the world of popular music. For anyone to succeed outside their own country, they _have_ to sing in English, at least some of the time. I think she does a lovely job, even if I can hear her accent here and there. For me, it adds a certain beauty to the song. So, my reaction to her is quite different from yours. I'm sorry that you are so put off by the accent. It makes me think that you are missing out on a lot of wonderful singers out there. There was a time, a generation or two ago, when people all over the world understood and accepted and enjoyed hearing singers sing in languages other than their native language (and that included English-language singers singing in French or Italian or Spanish, etc). The focus was on the voice and the performance, not on an impeccable accent. It made the world a larger and happier place. I think we need more of that now. So, good on her! And, more, please!
