A couple of years back, someone asked Tom what was up with this song and the best answer he came up with was they just couldn't get it done. This version is supposedly an extremely rough run through jam that featured Tom on guitar, Paul on bass, Brad and Danny sharing percussion of some sort as he doesn't remember who actually drummed on the track, with Zach & Maynard on sharing vocals. Tom doesn't remember if Tim actually plays on the track or this version of the track and Adam wasn't around when this particular version was recorded.
Holy shit! This is awesome! I just saw this song up for download and thought it was too good to be true, so I had to make sure it was a real song, and it is! Bad ass dude!
These two bands are still very close today (it was Zack who was mentioned in the beginning of Cold and Ugly, believe it or not) and RATM also has connections to System of a Down. But mainly RATM, Tool, and SOAD.... Heh... The 3 biggest underground metal bands today and they're all related! It sends shivers down your spine when you stop to think about it.
@@ayobcollects8627 I am embarrassed now. I can't believe I called three of the biggest rock bands in history "underground". I'm so ashamed of myself from 10 years ago
sounds like chancellor on bass, or might be D'armour not sure, and background percussion sounds very Danny Carey, though guitar sound like Tom Morello, so don't really know
this is about as rare as air called revolution from the film judement night they did not use it as the bands that made it rage and tool did not think it was good enough.
Are you serious? Everyone knows Zack is a rapper. A very talented one at that. And this track was an unfinished weak demo. Which means, there is a lot missing.
Man…I never knew this existed. Seems like one of the greatest missed opportunities of the rock era.
2 of my favorite bands coming together perfectly
oh, i'm sorry your highness, did i make a mistake in spelling? thank god you were here to point this treasonous act out.
So old. I remember finding this on Kazaa back in teh day. Back in teh day meaning 10 years ago.
It was on a promo Canadian version of the cassette/LP.
I had that banger on cassette.
Amazing soundtrack, pretty cool movie.
PRONG!
Really? Do you have it? What’s the catalog number?
wtf whyyyyy have i never heard this? im 47 yr old and i still hawk this soundtrack

“YOU CAN’T KILL THE REVOLUTION!”

My top three favorite bands

Maynard sings in know your enemy off of ratms first album
@@TourettesSomething your claim about Zack being the mentioned guy is also incorrect.
@@TourettesSomethinglmao 😂 at least you still have ur account from 10 years ago that’s gotten count for something 😂
man id love to see an actual video of this..
Love this. Thanks man
this is the only place ive found this song. i only knew abt it because i used to have a random mp3 file that was just labeled "ratm judment nigh"
Lolplzza in 1992 I believe. Zach filled in for Henry Rollins during tools set. Explosive.
god maynard and zach sound so fucking good together. anyone know what the instrumentation is on this? Definitely a Tom Morrello rift.
I started thrashing uncontrollably in my room as soon as I heard that guitar riff!
Anyone else hear the resembalance to "Thinking of You" from Maynard's other band - A Perfect Circle? (After about 1:10 in)
This song was supposed to be in the movie??!?!? I didn't know that but i guess that putting RATM as part of the soundtrack would have been the shit.
hmmm i think i LIKE IT
The bass part at 5:40 eventually became the bass part/main riff for "New Millenium Homes" from "The Battle of Los Angeles."
it's all good
first minute in and it sounds like Kyuss
we should have another huge concert (woodstock status) and get Tool and Rage to play this as loud as possible (prefferably outside of the white house)
thanks
@MrTownraPist I can't believe I called SOAD underground...
It was to be on the Judgment Night soundtrack but never made it appearently.
sounds like chancellor on bass, or might be D'armour not sure, and background percussion sounds very Danny Carey, though guitar sound like Tom Morello, so don't really know
FUCK YES! THANK YOU
Nearly sounds like Swans or Godflesh in part
new millenium homes at the end? bit different though. still an awesome riff.
this is about as rare as air called revolution from the film judement night they did not use it as the bands that made it rage and tool did not think it was good enough.
But the judgement night soundtrack was full of collabs between rap and rock artists… where’s the hip hop in this?!
Are you serious? Everyone knows Zack is a rapper. A very talented one at that. And this track was an unfinished weak demo. Which means, there is a lot missing.
Why does it break into New Millenium Homes at the end?
same beat, but it would've been killer if it kept going with new millenium holmes.
Is there more of this out there somewhere?
This isn't and wasn't on the Judgement Night soundtrack
Wikipedia ....breh
It was supposed to be, buddy
dude, where did you find it???
@matsawsammy3 just "Revolution"
is this a legit calob between both bands?
It is, they scrapped it because they didn't like how it turned out but it's real
who is playing what?
Is this judgement night or revolution??
thanks
